       I am helping out a friend of mine with some preliminary research for a possible documentary film on the history of wrestling in the Knoxville area.  We are in the VERY early stages of this and are thus trying to figure out what resources are out there to help us out.  I know there is a very small amount of footage from the various promotions available but if anyone knows of any (especially the older stuff) it would be great.  Even short clips would be better than nothing.  We also would like to know of anyone who could provide memories, history of the area, and any scans of photos, magazine articles, programs, or newpaper ads/clippings/stories.  Nothing is too small we can use any and all info.  Feel free to contact me here and I can put you in touch with the filmaker and we can go from there.  I am really excited about helping with this at even a small level as I always had a fondness for the Knoxville area from travelling to SMW shows and shooting pictures there.
