World Wrestling Association (Indianapolis) formerly NWA Indianapolis

Dick The Bruiser and Wilbur Snyder bought the NWA Indianapolis promotion from Jim Barnett. Bruiser then renamed the Organization to The WWA. The WWA had a long standing agreement with the former AWA owned by Verne Gagne. But in 1989 after loosing talent to the Vince McMahon owned WWF now the WWE and Bruiser death the WWA closed..

The WWA was affiliated with the larger American Wrestling Association and recognized its champions, though the WWA also had its own champions.

I do not think enough of everybody realizes on here how many great wrestlers wrestled with the WWa and held titles in the organization. I will be posting threads to give those of you how may not know much about the federation some results list of champions and some pictures throughout the next week.....
