Ric Flair has just captured the United States Heavyweight Title (Big Red) from Superfly Jimmy Snuka and his evil manager Gene Anderson. On television in 1980, Anderson, Snuka and the Iron Sheik confront Flair to protest the win. Despite being outnumbered three to one and being threatened by Anderson, Flair has no fear and has a few words of his own for his "cousin" Gene Anderson and the former champion, Snuka.
Notes: Flair is the undisputed master of the promo. Thirty years later, there is still no one who can do a promo as well as he can. Flair is especially good here at being aware of what the viewer at home cannot see. He references Blackjack Mulligan and Jim Brunzel who are in the ring teaming for the next match.
