Blackjack Mulligan has become a fan favorite following a falling out with Nature Boy Ric Flair (The great Hat vs Robe confrontation). Flair has put a bounty on the head of Mulligan to keep him away from seeking revenge. Everybody was after Mulligan, even television matches became bounty matches. Here Crusher Jerry Blackwell, young mobile and very heavy, went for the money and glory against the Man from Eagle Pass in one of the best television matches from the old school era.
 
Notes: This match was saved as part of the 1978 year in review for MACW. The match is edited, but still gives you an idea of what a tough match it was.
