I've got a friend helping run IWA East Coast's anniversary show Nov. 6. Terry Funk is participating in the main event so, to help plug the show as well as his Ring Roast later this week, I conducted an hour-long interview with Terry over the weekend. The main focus was his run in the NWA in 1989 and feud with Ric Flair. I haven't conducted a ton of interviews - maybe about a dozen - but this easily came out as one of the best. Terry has zero ego and will give you all the time in the world. Funk gave his candid thoughts on working on the booking committee at that time, driving down the road with Dick Murdoch and Norman, wrestling Eddie Guerrero and Brian Pillman, and his major matches against the likes of Flair and Sting. Check it out and let me know what you think. Funk's open to doing this again so if you have ideas for follow up topics, I'd like to hear them. Follow the link in my sig to download the interview.
