Did they ever wrestle in the AWA after their run in the WWF?  I seem to recall seeing them on TV, and I thought it was for AWA in the late eighties.  I say that as where I live I can only remember seeing AWA, WWF, and NWA/WCW on TV.

They had a match roughly in the Central States area vs Rock & Rollers -Morton & Gibson, after leaving WWF, (others may be able to give more detail on this),  mostly they worked Stampede Wrestling during this period-which included trips into Montana. At first in Stampede they continued to wrestle as a team, then split up with Dynamite turning heel, about late Aug. 89 Dynamite wrestled in the Maritimes as a face for a couple of months and retired shortly afterwards.

Here's the Bulldogs vs Rock-n-Roll card promoted by the Central States/WWA promoter Bob Geigel and All Japan Pro Wrestling.
Some one said there was an AWA Logo in the center of the ring, but the promotion was not involved!!

Genichiro Tenryu pinned Bill Irwin (9:24).

Akio Sato pinned Curtis Hughes (8:20).

The British Bulldogs drew The Rock-n-Roll Express (30:00). Pat O'Connor was the special referee.

Just wanted to add that after WWF they had a short run in Stampede and AJPW. Boy it is a shame what happened to Davey Boy and Dynamite Kid's relationship...

I saw that video on youtube.  The logo does look like AWA's, but I'm not sure the video quality is not very good.

I think it was an AWA logo as well. If memory serves me correct, and I could be wrong, but I thought they showed the match on AWA TV back in 1989, or at least a clip of it. But I could be mistaken.

Its a real shame that the show only drew 300 people.
