Notes
2/3/80 Omni – Handicap Match – Mr. Wrestling 2 defeated Killer Khan, Masked Superstar and Great Mephisto
2/7/80 Rome, GA – Ivan Koloff and Alexis Smirnoff vs. Lars Anderson and Charles Buffong – in Lars’ second attempt to run an outlaw promotion in Atlanta he had himself as the WLW World Champion and the “Superstar from the West Indies” Charles Buffong was his #1 contender. Both men worked babyface during this program. At the same time they teamed to challenge the top heels the WLW tag-team champions the Medics.
2/14/80 Rome, GA. – Main Event – Las Vegas Pole Match – Austin Idol vs. Kevin Sullivan
2/24/90 Omni – Handicap Match – Loser Leaves Town – Tony Atlas defeated Killer Khan and Great Mephisto – this is huge in the history of GCW – Great Mephisto out as booker. Ole Anderson returns as booker. This was the only show that Ole had worked up until this point in the month of February. There were a lot of shakeups on this card due to the no shows by Ernie Ladd and Tommy Rich. Dutch Mantell replaced Ernie Ladd, Steve Travis replaced Mr. Wrestling 2 to work against Killer Khan, while Mr. Wrestling 2 was bumped into the Main Event to replace Rich and challenge Harley Race for the World Heavyweight Championship.
2/26/80 Macon, GA. – Coal Miner’s Glove Match – Kevin Sullivan defeated Austin Idol

I'm really enjoying it and I'm hoping that it's helping you to put together the list for the rookie draft.

No real notes of interest this month. This was a down month for GCW with most of the cards being filled with prelim matches featuring Jay Strongbow, Bill Dromo, Charlie Fulton, Tenryu, Bobby Garrett and Jim Nelson. Baron Von Raschke established himself as the top heel and was programmed with just about all of the top faces. Austin Idol spent the month trying to collect a bounty against Mr. Wrestling 2.

Thanks Red, this has been a really good resource to help me update my venues in Georgia and jog my memories of some things I saw on tv when I was a kid.
