Cena on a Plane

It's not really an "appearance" but I was on a plane with John Cena today.

I was flying US Air from Tampa to DC, and once I boarded, I gave 1st Class my usual quick once over, just in case there's somebody famous on board.

I found myself looking at THE CHAMP, who was dressed fabulously in a starched white shirt, nice tie, french cuffs.

"Hey John !" I said, and he looked up at me. "The Champ Is Here !" I said,.

He looked at me for a second, and then went back to reading his paper.

It would have been cool if he would have been friendly, but it was still a great experience. I don't think anyone else on the plane even knew who he was.

I wonder why he was headed to DC, and what was the deal with the power business suit ? Shocked

Ummm, the Survivor Series in Washington DC this Sunday...that might have something to do with it...LOL. Some PR time I'm guessing or something along those lines.

Anyone in Northern Virginia, come to a great show that is close...http://www.primalconflictwrestling.com and see Sonjay Dutt, Shanghai Pierce, Jimmy Janetty, The Holy Rollers, etc. Just a really good show and close too. Charlestown, WV is sure to knock your socks off with a great wrestling show!

I had heard he was always fan friendly but I guess that has changed now.

Well, maybe it hasn't changed.

It wasn't a public appearance, and I am a grown man....not a kid. I gotta think if a kid would have recognized him he would have smiled and said hello.

I saw Cena at an appearance in January of 09 and he was great...signing and smiing and posing for pictures.

I tried to catch up with him and try again once we landed in DC. Being in first class he had a good head start on me getting off the plane. By the time I got out there.......the Champ was GONE ! (I even checked the men's room) Grin
