Sad news in Washington, DC this Christmas eve, with the passing of local sports broadcasting legend George Michael.
 
Michael was the best.   A local institution.
 
One cool thing about him was he would cover pro wrestling, right along with mainstream sports, on the local news.
 
Enjoy this clip from 1992, when George Michael put Flair on live during the 6 o'clock news.

I must say that George Michael always treated the wrestlers good. He maintained kayfabe well after it had been broken, even throughout the 90's when WCW was making a mockery of the business we all love. George Michael will truely be missed.
