Prayers for Gene Kiniski
Jan 23rd, 2010, 10:37am

Gene Kiniski, who was NWA champ from 1966 to 1969, and the only man to hold the NWA, AWA and WWA world championships, is having a tough go in a hospital in Bellingham, Wash. His friend Dutch Savage advised today that Kiniski has contracted pneumonia, probably from an immune system weakened by chemo for lymphatic cancer. It would be nice of everyone to offer proper support for Big Thunder.

I will say a prayer for Mr. Kiniski. I hope he can recover from this.

I'll be saying a prayer for Mr. Kiniski as well. Agreed that he was a very underrated champion.

Good luck big guy, God Bless.
