I have read in some places that the pool of Hall of Fame inductees is getting a little shallow now adn Vince is havinga  harder time getting inductees. I think there are still a lot of worthy names to induct at some point.

I have a shoot interview DVD of Ken Patera and he is asked if he'd like to be in Vince's Hall Of Fame.  Patera responded with words to the effect of "For the lousy $5,000 he gives you?  I don't need his lousy $5,000.  What am I gonna do with $5,000?  Get real."
 
Ken resents the way Vince treated him near the end of his career.  He says how Vince verbally put him down and paid him an insultingly low amount of money in his last year or two with WWF.  He's also upset with the strongman stunt that Vince had him do where he held back a car with his legs while bracing his back against a cement wall.  It totally ruined Patera's back.
 
Patera's a real interesting guy though and I think he'd make a great addition to a Fanfest.  Has he ever been to Greg's Fanfest before?
