Masked Superstar WWF Title

"Bill was set to win the WWF title from Backlund when the week or so before he had a falling out with Vince. He left and thus the Sheik won"

No not really, was long story and I would prefer not to get into it but things all worked out for the best. Was set to take place but stipulations were then put in place that I didn't feel I would be able to agree to. No falling out with Vince at all. I  just didn't want to follow new suggested stipulations.

Thanks for the reply even if vague. Trivia like that makes me wonder how things would have been different. Maybe not much at all but who knows?
