WWE vs TNA TV Ratings 4/26
Apr 27th, 2010, 10:28pm

Whoa.......

Here are the ratings for this weeks Raw vs TNA battle (or, as some hopefuls may call it......Monday Night War II)

Check this out:

This week's Raw, the three hour Draft Special had an average of 4,628,000 viewers.

 TNA Impact had 739,000 viewers.

Holy cow.    Vince is feeling no threat of competition from TNA from the looks of this.

Vince has no competition, just a poor imitator he doesn't even acknowledge. Nor should he acknowledge. It is sad to see Ric Flair at his age playing Coyote to Hogan's Roadrunner. My cable was out Monday night, but I read a recap that Abyss no-sold a brass nuckles punch and Hogan removed Ric's HOF ring from his finger. It seems these guys like Hogan and Bischoff are so petty they will ruin a scripted show to do stupid things like that just like they buried Ric in WCW. So far he's been slammed through an entrance ramp, wheelchair bound, and rants like a madman who bleeds buckets every week. Now blood has been over-used on tv wrestling, brass nucks can be no-sold, and Flair fans know he will always be used as a whipping boy. If Ric is supposed to be the heel shouldn't he have won the ring from the face Abyss by cheating and have Abyss chase the ring to get it back? Why is your young "monster" beating up a 62 year old man? The so-called booking has no logic whatsoever.

Is this Vince Russo's work ?    If so, no wonder Cornette hates him so much.    Roll Eyes

I'm curious what kind of ratings Ring of Honor on HDNet gets on Monday nights in the hour before RAW comes on.

According to Hogan scripts are sent to him for approval or adjustment. Last I heard it was Russo but he wanted out of the job and moved to some other spot. I'm sure Bischoff as a so-called "tv producer" has some say also. I'm sure Cornette would agree with me that they are overusing blood on free tv, establishing that even a brass nucks shot from a 16 world champion has absolutely no effect, and that basic booking says the audience wants to see the face get even so the heel wins by whatever means it takes, but they book Ric as leader of the heels who gets humiliated every week. What payoff is a fan supposed to want to pay to see? Russo and whoever else is writing this lacks even the most basic understanding of the business. I'm no booker, never been in the biz, but after close to 40 years of watching I can tell you how it supposed to be done just as what the fan wants to see. If Hogan believes Abyss is his Cena as he has said Flair should have won Hogan's HOF ring from Abyss by cheating is fine - Flair is in his 60's, then you could do a storyline of the presumed fan favorite trying to get back the ring wrongfully taken from him. Now where do you go? The heel got humiliated and the fans know he's never going to go over on Hogan.

Honestly, Hogan and Flair should give it up. If they want to be on air characters in a non-wrestling capacity that's fine. Neither one should be getting in the ring.

TNA going to Mon was a bad idea. I read stuff on the net saying Mon Night Wars 2. That was ridiculous and I hoped for the best that it may spark more interst in wrestling but it didn't. I never thought it would & moving back to Thurs was the right call.

I think Hogan, the Band, Flair all should be gone. If they stay it has to be in a non wrestling role and only if they work for much less than what they are getting now. Paying these guys whatever they are is clearly not working. TNA fans don't want old WWF/WCW guys they want TNA guys.

I think dump them and get Team Angle formed again -Angle, Benjamin, Haas, that would be exciting and they can all wrestle. That would be much more exciting.
