Hate to make another thread since I asked this in my IC thread but I want to be sure everyone sees my question. I was in another forum and a poster was doubting the validity of the fake tourney in Brazil for the WWWF belt Rogers vs. Rocca. Doesn't make much sense to me as the tourney was fake anyway. The only thing I can figure he means is that the story about a fake tourney for the 1st WWWF belt didn't get made up till long after the split from the NWA was done.
 
So, when was the story of the Brazil tourney 1st mentioned? What was Rogers called from Jan 1963 when he lost to Thesz till Apr when Rogers won the fictional tourney? Did the split happen and nothing much was said till Apr? WAS Rogers called WWWF champ in Jan then WWWF qiuckly changed the story that he won it in Apr? Any help would be appreciated.
