I know ECW doesn't fit in the same category as most of the promotions you have sections for which were promotions that were around when The NWA actually had a governing body and a title that was defended all over the world.  But I see SMW has a section and they started long after The NWA was any sort of powerful force in wrestling.  Like ECW, SMW was basically a big independent,but ECW held shows in a lot more areas of the country than SMW, they outlasted ECW, and they were on PPV for over three years.  I also feel that ECW was the most influential promotion of the last 20 years.  The only reason WWE is still around is because they stole so many of ECW's ideas and then presented them in a watered down form calling it "The Attitude Era" which is what allowed WWE to stay in business at a time when WCW had almost run them out of business.  Of course, WCW also stole plenty of ECW's ideas and took many of ECW's wrestlers.
