For me, I look back on those Lenoir shows as some of my fondest memories. WCW had folded and I had quit watching wrestling. After going to Fanfest in Charlotte, I was missing the old days. Tony Hunter brought back old school wrestling for awhile. Dusty, Tully, Nikita, Ivan, Boogie, Rock and Roll, Midnights, Abdullah, Ronnie Garvin, Ole, the list goes on. The place was packed and rip roaring. I could go back to '85 once a month while it lasted. I don't know exactly what happened to Hunter, I can only guess, but I don't really care. I thank him for making me feel like a kid again by rubbing shoulders with so many real wrestling legends.
