Just wanted to share some info in regards to our Registration process on Thursday, and everything that will be going on that day. We begin at 2 p.m. on Thursday. We've tried to streamline the process at Registration so, hopefully, this year's registration will be a much easier task for all of you. In line before you reach Registration, you'll pass by several merchandise tables where you'll have a first chance to buy several items: --this year's Souvenir Program --this year's 8x10s and poster-sized prints (again, preorders are strongly suggested to insure availability) --Autographed bottles of JR's BBQ Sauce and Chipotle Ketchup (remember, everyone that purchases gets to meet JR later in the evening) --Raffle tickets for this year's Hall of Heroes belt! --previous year's programs, lanyards, t-shirts --lots of great buys on classic action figures, some autographed ones too! --a GREAT DEAL on the hardcover book "More Than Just Hardcore" by Terry Funk and the softcover version of "King of the Ring" by Harley Race. Grab BOTH books for the low price of just $10. That's right, one of each for just 10 bucks, while they last! --plastic toploaders for your 8x10s and poster-sized prints You'll be able to purchase all of these items while you're in line, BEFORE you reach Registration. You'll also be able to purchase any remaining Sting tickets from James or Terence at 3 Count Promotions/LOTR. (Anything related to Sting's appearance will be handled by these guys.) Once you get to Registration, please help us make the process as easy as possible. It's not mandatory that you know your VIP number in advance, but that will certainly help speed things along. At Registration, each VIP will get a bag containing: --Your t-shirt --Your numbered VIP lanyard --Your numbered wristband (number will match the lanyard) --Any photo op tickets or photos you've purchased in advance or asked us to hold for cash payment --Any Hall of Heroes or Breakfast With Champions tickets, if purchased in advance (remember, deadline for purchasing these meal tickets is Monday, August 2nd. None will be sold after that.) Once you get your bag and before you leave the Registration area, please verify the contents of your bag to make sure you have everything. Ok, now here's the really important stuff. A staff member will place your wristband on your left wrist. If you're not ready for it to be placed on your wrist, or if you're picking up materials for others, bring the wristband with you when it's time to enter later and a staff member will place it on your left wrist then. And here's where it gets EVEN MORE IMPORTANT! Your wristband is your VIP lifeline for the duration of the weekend. It's your wristband that gets you in the door to all of our events, and the number on your wristband will be verified with the number on your VIP lanyard in order for you to get into the Autograph Room. Any wristband not attached to your left wrist is not a valid wristband and you will be denied entry. Do not remover your wristband, for any reason, until your fanfest weekend is over. We will NOT replace wristbands for any reason whatsoever. After you're done at Registration but while still in line, you'll be able to drop off and pay for any "extra items" you need signed. I suggest all of your drop-off items be clearly identified with both your name and your VIP number, and any special instructions be spelled out so there is no room for error. All "extra items" dropped off are $10 for each of our featured guests. I know this sounds like a lot, and it is, but most of the stuff can be done while you're waiting in line to pickup your VIP materials. And once you reach Registration, it will be a quick and easy process. Please remember, the only form of payment accepted at Registration is cash. As always, I'm happy to help if you have any questions. Thanks!
