IS IT TO EARLY TO START???
Aug 3rd, 2010, 9:55pm

In an effort to raise my spirits and relieve my mind from the stress I am dealing with which caused me to not being able to attend this years fest I figured I could start the speculation now...

Greg has already posted

Ronnie (Garvin) will be an integral part of next year's Georgia fanfest

So not saying he is confirmed but a good guess would be Ronnie Garvin will be a guest at the 2011 Fan Fest

So for those of us not attending this year and wanna start early speculation or indicate desires for next years guest(s) I would love to see:

my guess to be inducted into not only the WWE HOF but the Hall of Heroes in 2011

Michael PS Hayes &
Buddy Roberts (already in Hall of Heroes but hopefully will induct Hayes?)

Ricky Steamboat
Dusty Rhodes
Jerry Brisco
Stan Hansen
Harley Race (also to be inducted into Hall of Heroes..I Hope because I love Harley)
Abdullah the Butcher
Mr Fuji
Cowboy Bob Orton
Baron Von Raschke
Larry Zbyszko
Road Warrior Animal
Ole Anderson
The Masked Superstar
Mr. Wrestling II
Rick Martel
Jake the Snake
Steve Keirn
Ted Dibiase
Rock N Roll Express

I know that is a very impressive list but a man can dream right??

there is not one name out there that  would be like an impossibility

the hardest name with scheduling would be the names with current wwe responsibilties  but even they are possible

Both Buddy Roberts and Baron Von Raschke would be names to tempt me over.

Ben,

I am hopping that everything is ok with you....surprised you are not attending this year..Hope all is well with you

LOTR

I agree with you, none of the names are impossible.  Although I hope you agree that all of these legends at one fan fest would be impressive by all means...I will adress the impossible in my next post

The flights have gone up by approximately $300 compared to last year.

That was one of the very large stumbling blocks for us on the other side of the pond...

Chris and Ben,

I understand...I think the whole world is off its rocker sometimes with the way this economy is working..$300 increase is insane for a flight..airline prices were high the previous year because of soaring fuel rates.  I wonder what bs they would give if asked why now...

Anyways, hope to see you guys next year in Georgia.  I have already started my 2011 Fan Fest fund...$20 a week will go a long towards next years activities..

It was a real shame not to come this year especialy once Ken decided to vend in the end and use some of the name he did.

The main things were costs (as Kris mentioned) and also the fact there are just hardly any names I need now.

Kris and I both have Atlanta on the radar and hope to attend and get together with all the great friends we have made over the years!

As Ben said, Atlanta is on the radar, but if I do come, I really can't see myself do any more conventions anywhere after that.

Hoping some good names get booked  Smiley

A lot of great names mentioned.  As usual, my top hope is Bobby Heenan.  Hopefully his health allows him to be with us next year since he almost was this year. Plus he had a stay in Georgia and of course later worked for WCW.

I'd also like to see Robert Fuller, who had a lot of memorable work in Georgia.

I love my list too. Thanks!

Like you, at this point, I have met more than I haven't met. My list differs quite a bit from most people. I need those wrestlers that haven't hit the convention circuit (or have only done one or two random ones).

As for Randy Culley, he was a Moondog, original Smash in Demolition. I guess it depends on where you look as far as how his name is spelled. LOL

A return guest I wouldn't mind is Danny Hodge.  Partly just because the man is great, partly because since August, I've obtained the official program for the '56 Olympic Trials and I think it would be a great item to get signed.

I haven't really came up with a list for next year yet.  Just a name here and there.  One of these nights when I'm bored I'll have to do it, if for no other reason than to give me something to do.
