I understand the want/need of the younger folks to meet "lower, former WWE talent," and believe me you'll have plenty of that with the vendor guests brought in. But you won't see folks like that -- just any old somebody thats been on tv since 1990 -- taking a spot for a featured guest.
 
Granted, I never met Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, or Babe Ruth. Long before my time. But that doesn't make them any less a "legend" in baseball. And some that played with them, while equally as accomplished, are "who" players for me. Again, it doesn't detract from their accomplishments just because I'm not familiar with them.
 
We're still VERY EARLY in the game for next year's fanfest weekend, and a long time before most of the major guest announcements are made. But by the time next August rolls around, I'm confident you will find something you like.

Okay, you have a point there. Just because I don't know a wrestler it doesn't take away from their accomplishments. Alot of wrestling fans today may not know who they are but they made some noteworthy contributions in their day. That being said it isn't all about talent that's been on tv in the past 20 years.  Id be thrilled to meet kevin von erich, Lance von erich, iceman parsons, buddy roberts, michael ps Hayes, magnum ta, tom zenk.

If you have never attended one of these events you are in for such a treat. Such a great value for all you get for the money.
There is always  an abundance of Booth Guests that I am sure will fit your fancy.
 
 
Hopefully we will be there again it is too early for me to plan that far pending ongoing family situations.

We don't really get wrestling conventions around Atlanta like they do in the Northeast so Ive put down about everybody I either need to meet for the first time or need to meet again to finish up with them. Yes I know most of the people I've listed won't end up on the superticket. I'm hoping some of the vendors read this and might get some of them. like people have said before the vendors will provide a wide variety of talent.
 
 
 
 

Unless something changes I'm just going for the vendor guests as no one except the Funks interest me.  Several of the wrestlers mentioned on here I have no clue who they are (mainly the ones from the 60's). I'm a relatively younger wrestling fan, I'm  looking to get the most out of this like I mentioned before unfortunately we don't get many wrestling conventions in Atlanta and I'm trying to get the most of this. If I can just get 2 people on my list I'll be happy.

I met the steiners at the fest in 09'...they were nice..low key but nice. Jake i met afew times..you gotta catch him on a good day
