Greg has spoiled us with Ric Flair, The Four Horsemen Reunion and now Sting as Special Guest(s).
I hope the trend continues for next years fest.  I am thinking there are several names out there people would love to see and debate on who would be the best to have.  I would love to see one of the following:
 
Randy Macho Man Savage - Yes, I know the history and realize it is a long shot at best BUT No one ever figured him to have a WWE DVD - He has...No one figured him to have a WWE Mattel Figure - He will...and according to the Macho Man in the Mattel Promo 2011 is gonna be the year of the Macho Man !!
 
Shawn Michaels  
Stone Cold Steve Austin
 
and last but not least and my guess as to who it will be:
 
Goldberg - Could still be inducted into the WWE HOF next year...
 
The only problem is none of these guys have too much Georgia Wrestling history, although Goldberg played football I believe for the University of Georgia and filled the Georgia Dome when he beat Hogan.
 
I would love to hear other people's ideas on who should be a Special Guest...Hogan, Ultimate Warrior etc.

Well that would be a first ....Savage being compared to Virgil

I can see Savage making an appearance somewhere next year. He as a figure coming out....and maybe even a hof induction.  
 
Piper would also be a great special guest. I can see him having a high price due to his cost but I really don't want him to be a 'come and go type  guest'. He would be perfect for either a Q/A or either receiving or inducting at the Hall of Heroes.

if at all posible.  not knowing his health situation. but BLACKJACK MULLIGAN  would be a huge guest.  its a long shot but he was in georgia for while and he is a true legend of wrestling and he would be a very rare appearence. just throwing it out there.

The only "major want" left for me is Bobby Heenan.  There are still plenty of names I'd be happy to see added, some new and some repeat, but the only "holy crap" name left for me is my hero in the business, the Brain.  
 
After that, I'm mostly interested in as many of the "old timers" that are still with us and able to make the trip.  The history of wrestling fascinates me, and I get a feeling of awe being around those who were there for the early days of wrestling on TV, etc.
 
I'm really hoping Robert Fuller is there, especially given his time in the Georgia territory.
 
Probably an obscure name for a lot of my fellow attendees, but I'm a mark for managers, so I'd be interested in Dr. Ken Ramey.
 
Ricky Steamboat would be cool, I've never got to meet him.
 
I know none of these really fit into the "special VIP guest" mold, but I'm pretty well done with those.  Don't get me wrong, meeting Savage would be cool, but if it never happens, I'm okay with that.

      Yes, I know my list is very long but this isn't the northeast where they get 1-2 conventions every month. Stuff like this doesn't come around Atlanta as often. I thought I'd shoot for the moon and list about everybody NOT wrestling for wwe and hope for the best. Greg if you can make any of this happen either on superticket or vendor guests I'd be very grateful.

Thanks, hopefully Greg sees that and makes it happen! That would be the best convention ever, I'd be thrilled if they manage to get just a few of the names on my list.

Yeah, but it would be more profitable  to get  noteworthy names insted of "who" names to people born after 1980. I do realize alot of people who go to alot of conventions are happy to get the older  less known rare names but for myself and I'm sure alot of others we'd like to meet some people who've been on tv in the past 20 years.  For the record the "lower" former wwe talent I've listed is people who I personally need to meet to get finished with them.

Thank you, don't get me wrong though I'm a huge wccw fan and like about any wrestling after the late 70's. I know in the northeast they have all those conventions and it gets frustrating to promoters trying to bring in "fresh talent".  That isn't the case in Atlanta we don't get conventions very often around here so about any well known name would be great( except Virgil LOL).

ok thats fine you want younger talent, but dont forget the younger talent will be around alot longer then the legends,so that why myself i want the older legends to be at fanfest, and thanks to mr price we get alot of our childhood heroes.and with due respect there are younger talent at every fanfest

dont want burst your hopes but this is a nwa legends fanfest  not a wwe side show my self i wouldnt invite most of your listed talent example no show take the money and run jake roberts i hope i have not offended you but ill stick with the nwa legends

While I'm not big on the newer names (not just because it's a legends show, but because they don't really interest me personally), I wouldn't mind seeing some of the Shimmer wrestlers.  Not as "Special Guests" obviously, but on the weekend wrestling cards and maybe in the vendor area for autographs and photo ops.
 
It's actually the only company I'm following right now.

I'd like to meet Jake Roberts and Steiner Brothers. I've heard bad things about them both. I know Jake was there this year was he nice and fun to meet. How about the Steiners they've always been my favorite tag-team and I've always wanted to meet them. Last time they were in town I was out of town.
 
What are ya'll opinions of them, if you've met them?

lucky this year with jake  he was funny and playful seemed to be in a good mood and having fun  steiner are always tops  to be around
