RIP Ted Allen

"Nightmare" Ted Allen passed away a short time ago at his home. He was sitting in his front yard waiting on his ride to a show. Apparent massive heart attack.

So sad - Ted was a great friend of mine and I enjoyed spending time with him at Fanfest a few weeks ago.

So sorry to hear. I went downstairs late Saturday and he had already left so I wasn't able to get a mask from him. Really wish I hadn't waited. RIP Ted Allen

I want to second this.  I felt like I was talking to someone I had known for years instead of someone I'd just met.  I was shocked to hear this.  I'm glad I was able to spend a few minutes chatting with him, as well as a photo and autographed mask.  This is just a shame, and for some reason feels more shocking to me than Lance Cade.

RIP Mr. Allen, God bless your family and friends.

I've known and worked with Ted for 20 years - a great guy, always kept his word - a rarity in the business today. We'll all miss him. R.I.P.
