Les Thatcher welcomes us to the show, and says he has a surprise for us, Les says he is no longer going to be broadcasting the show alone, and one of his heroes, a man he has always strived to be like will now be joining him. Thatcher asks everyone to welcome the one and only GORDON SOLIE to the broadcast booth!!!! Gordon says he is so happy to be here and that International Wrestling is where all the biggest wrestling stars are. The two then run down what we will see today and the upcoming Black Friday Spectacular. We then head to the ring for our first match
 
JUNKYARD DOG VS. LENNY HURST
 JYD has been on a role since joining TSW and it doesn’t stop today as he beat Hurst with a running powerslam @3:12
 
JYD joins Thatcher and Solie after his match and talks about the Battle Royal at Black Friday, The Dog says he has fought long and hard to try and get a title shot, and now he has his chance to finally get one. The Dog says he has allot of friends in TSW, but when that bell rings for the battle royal, friendship goes out the window because he is going to win, no matter what!!!

Johnny Weaver is back on International Wrestling after being off the last few weeks recovering from the attack by Roddy Piper. Thatcher and Solie replay the footage of Piper attacking Weaver and whipping him with Piper’s belt. Weaver says he is sorry that he hasn’t been here and is especially sorry he wasn’t here last week to team with Rick Martel against TNT. Weaver says he has an announcement to make, but he wants Roddy Piper out here to hear it. Piper saunters out and laughs at Weaver, saying he knows what this is, Weaver is going to announce his retirement because he is scared of Piper, Weaver realized he doesn’t have what it takes anymore to go toe to toe with the new generation of wrestlers who are faster, tougher and stronger than Weaver’s  generation. Weaver says that might be the case, but he isn’t retiring, and Piper has a chance to prove all that because at Black Friday, Johnny Weaver and Roddy Piper are going to go one on one in the ring!!!! Piper isn’t happy about this, he says it’s the NWA’s fault and they are trying to get him tired before the battle royal, Piper then tells Weaver that he is going to be sorry for this because at Black Friday, Weaver is going to have to PAY THE PIPER!!
 
NON TITLE: TRI STATES TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS RANDY SAVAGE AND LANNY POFFO W/ANGELO POFFO VS. DAVEY O’HANNON AND JOE NOVA
 
Savage and Poffo are in rare form, and handle the Jersey Boys rather easily, Savage gets the win for his team after he pins the former AWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion O’Hannon after an elbow drop from the top rope @5:51
 
 
The Tri States Tag Team Champions then join Thatcher and Solie. They say that last week and this week is just a preview of what they are going to do to the Andersons on Black Friday, that is if the Andersons even make it to Buffalo, Lanny says that they know Gene Anderson has been told to retire and that he isn’t being cleared to wrestle in Buffalo, Savage warns Gene that if he and Ole show up in Buffalo they’ll finish the job thy stated on Labor Day and put Gene out of wrestling for good, DIG IT???????????????????????

Before the next match begins, Gordon Solie breaks the news that former World Heavyweight Champion Pedro Morales has signed on the dotted line to be a part of the Black Friday battle royal!!!! Solie says all the greatest wrestlers from around the world will be in Buffalo competing for the chance to face the NWA World Champion on Christmas Eve!!!
 
ADRIAN ADONIS VS. VINNIE VALENTINO
 
The young Valentino has been quite a hit with the young ladies with his youthful good looks, but that’s not enough to give him a chance here against the former International Champion Adrian Adonis. Adonis is tearing a path through the NWA to get what he feels is his rightful shot at the NWA World Title, and his destruction isn’t stopped here as he easily beats Valentino with a Tombstone Piledriver @2:09
 
Adonis then joins Thatcher and Solie, Adonis says that Pedro Morales is just another one of many who hope to come to Black Friday and take what is rightfully his, the shot at the NWA World Championship. Adonis says that he is the only man in the battle royal that holds a pinfall victory over the NWA World Champion, he pinned Harley Race in the center of the ring right here on International Wrestling, yet he hasn’t been given a shot at the title. Adonis says he isn’t the kind of wrestler the NWA wants to be World Champion, he isn’t their choice so they have done all that they can to keep the title away from him, because they know all he needs is that one shot. Adonis says at Black Friday he is going to take the choice out of the NWA’s hands when he wins the Battle Royal and then on Christmas Eve, the NWA’s worst nightmare will come true as he will become the NWA World Heavyweight Champion!

Rick Martel has joined Les Thatcher and Gordon Solie. Thatcher talks about what happened last week and how Martel ended up having to face TNT all by himself because Mike Graham was on the arena floor complaining of a knee injury. Thatcher openly questions whether or not Graham was as injured as he claimed to be, Solie speaks up saying he has known the Graham Family as long as he has been in wrestling and could never see Mike doing something like that. Martel says that he believes Mike that he was injured and he is putting what happened last week past him and is preparing to face Graham on Black Friday for the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship.
 
RICKY MORTON AND ROBERT GIBSON VS. SWEDE HANSON AND SILVANO SOUSA
 
Morton and Gibson are outweighed in today’s contest, but that doesn’t stop them. The two have been teaming together for a short time, but they are already a well oiled machine. Big Swede ends up on the receiving end of a double dropkick and Morton pins him for the win @5:04 as they get another victory heading to Black Friday and their show down with Paul Christy and Koko B Ware!
 
 
Gordon and Les are joined by NWA International Champion Terry Funk. Funk welcomes Gordon to International Wrestling and says he is glad to see him here. Funk talks about Black Friday and how it’s his last chance at the NWA World Title as long as Harley Race holds it.  Funk says he has been training harder than he ever has before. Funk says the in Buffalo on the 26th it is going to either be the greatest night of his life or the most disappointing, but one thing is for sure, when that bell rings, win or lose he will know he gave everything he had.

TV MAIN EVENT: KIMALA W/IZZY SLAPOWITZ VS. TOMMY GILBERT W/EDDIE GILBERT
 
Last week Tommy Gilbert challenged any one of Izzy’s men to a match, wanting to face a member of the Devil’s Duo, however Izzy pulled a fast one on Tommy and accepted the challenge on behalf of the Ugandan Giant, the Monster Kimala!!! To his credit, Gilbert does not back down, even though Kimala’s savagness  is evident. No matter how many times Kimala beats Gilbert down, the old cowboy finds a way to pull himself back up. Finally Izzy has enough and sends the Devil’s Duo in to draw the DQ!!! Eddie tries to help his father, but the three on two odds are two much, especially with Kimala in there. All looks bleak for the Gilberts when suddenly

BLACKJACK MULLIGAN  RUSHES THE RING!!!!!
 
 
Mulligan comes from out of nowhere and starts laying into Izzy’s men!!!! Eddie and Tommy are soon up and help Mulligan clear the ring!!! A big boot from Mulligan sends Kimala through the ropes and to the floor!!!!!! Izzy pulls his men away as Les Thatcher quickly jumps into the ring, microphone in hand!!!! Tommy says he knew Izzy wouldn’t play fair, so he called an old friend of his to help even the odds!!! Mulligan says he is here in TSW to watch The Gilberts’ back and to stuff that Kimala and send him back to where ever he came from!!!!! Thatcher closes the show and invites us back next week, because you never know what’s going to happen on International Wrestling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope you guys don't mind the shorter format, its easier to write and get out quicker, I'm going to try and find a happy medium between my long format and my shorter format in the coming weeks.

It's the little touches that matter sometimes. Thatcher and Solie disagreeing over the Graham family was really interesting. It makes total sense for Solie to defend Mike Graham and either way you go with Graham/Martel, it'll be intriguing to see if Gordon changes his tune.
 
Nice segment between Weaver and Piper. Johnny Weaver is a great first opponent for Roddy Piper in this territory.
