Just heard about this.  How sad?  Sweeny was great in ROH.  He was a throwback to the old-time managers.  I've missed him on their shows.  He was the first guy in a long time to really be a good manager.  I can't say enough about how good his work was.  Very sad.

"Sweet & Sour" Larry Sweeney wrestled in one of the strangest matches I have ever seen. Years ago, at an indy show in Iowa, Sweeney came to the ring managed by a 5 year old kid - and they played it off like the kid was the greatest manager in wrestling, with the kid giving him advice and rubbing his shoulders before the match. (I think the kid was Ian Rotten's son) It was strange, I think only "Sweet & Sour" could have made something so ridiculous still be entertaining. He will be missed..
