ENERGY INDEPENDENT WRESTLING returns to Asheboro,NC on Saturday night July 2 for another explosive night of wrestling action.
 
Ricky Morton of the Rock 'n' Roll Express returns to Asheboro to battle "Handsome" Jimi Love.
 
After the big loss to Scrapyard Dog back on June 4, Louis Moore has challenged Scrapyard to an I QUIT MATCH. The match will not finish until one participant says the words "I QUIT".  
One more special stipulation has been added to the match...during Moore's violent tirade after the last match, Moore shoved EIW management as well as East Side Community building manager, Billy Brown. Moore continued with his rage aimed at EIW managers and Brown. Once the match was set, Brown was asked to be the SPECIAL REFEREE for this match. Brown gladly accepted the offer as Moore rampaged.
 
EIW LEGACY champion, "The Arrow" DJ Hart will defend his title in a big rematch against Jersey Kidd. In a big surprise, fan favorite Hart grabbed the tights for leverage as he pinned Jersey in their first matchup.  
 
Vinnie Damoochie was abusive with the rules in his latest match with Bobby Savage. "Fabulous" Frankie Fontaine challenged Damoochie for a match with a stipulation of his choosing for July 2. Damoochie accepted.
