Thanks, Ric! Just ordered two meet & greet tickets - I wouldn't have known about this, if I didn't see it here.

Piledriver....maybe you can thank me my letting me hitch a ride.

Seriously, I don't know if I'll go.  I can't make the fanfest this year, and thought it might be an okay thing to do.  For $10?  Not bad, actually.

The meet and greet before the show had about 75-100 people there. Hulk was really cool and took his time with everybody. In fact, the meet and greet ran over the time allowed and the show started a few minutes late because of it. (No one seemed to mind, though)

The first 90 minutes of the show was an interview hosted by Eric Bischoff where he talked about his wrestling career and his personal life - most of the stories were in his books and DVD's already, but it was cool to hear him talk about it live.

After the intermission, the second part of the show was basically a live infomercial for "Body By Vi" supplements (the company that sponsored the show).

Also there with Hulk were Brutus Beefcake, Horace Hogan and Hulk's wife, Jennifer. Overall, I would consider this one of the greatest experiences of my life. I've been a wrestling fan for over 30 years and I never thought I could say "I've met Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan".

Crowd estimate was 300 people (and that includes the 100 that were there for the meet and greet). I don't know if the small crowd was from lack of interest, not enough advertising or the hurricane heading up the East Coast. It was only $10 to get in, so it wasn't the ticket prices.

Was really disappoint in the whole event.  Sure it was only $10, but expected more that what we got.  No inside info what so ever regarding wrestling - this could have been really great.  Now the video from A&E they keep showing is a great documentary - but I already saw it.  And of course the 2nd part of the show was nothing more than an infomercial for his SHAKE mix.  And to be honest it seemed he really didnt care.  Now I know there was no one there.. maybe 200 at the most and I am sure he was disappointed at the turn out - thus they kept saying it was because of the hurricane.   I was hoping that he would hang around a little and meet with fans and the FEW who actually stayed to hear the Protein Shake pitch - but he got off the stage as soon as he could...

Not bad for $10 - but for anything more.. it was would have really sucked!

You had to get the VIP thing to get an autograph or sign up for the Protein Shake auto pay and they would give you a free bandana signed.

Again - was very disappointed in the whole event

Found this review of Hulk Hogan and Friends online:

As far as being disappointed with "Back From the Brink" - if they are charging extra for a Meet and Greet to meet Hulk Hogan and get his autograph and you're expecting him to be standing around after the show doing them for free, I guess you probably would end up disappointed. To say he "got off the stage as soon as he could" - the meet and greet started at 6 and the show ended at 10 - four hours of telling stories and talking to the fans isn't cheating anybody. Why go to a Hulk Hogan show if you don't like him?

Who said I didnt like him.  I wish it was ONLY him just talking about Wrestling... Just him.   That would have been really cool!

What I didn't like was paying money to listen to an infomercial about a protein shake - which was 1/2 the show.  Again - there was about 100 left at the end of the show and it would have been nice if he would have hung out a while.  Was he tired or not feeling well - I really cant say.  Would I go again - NO.  Would I have had a better time if I paid the $100 to actually meet him - yes, but then going and sitting up in the front rows to listen to an infomercial - I would have been really upset.

I also notice in the review you posted they had a Q and A session.  That WOULD have been great! But no dice in Greensboro.  And I find it interesting in the review they dont make mention of the infomercial.  Did they even do it??
