I just wanted to reiterate most of what RocklandSally posted. I honestly believe this convention ran smooter than any of the previous ones that I have attended (and I only have missed two). All of the guests seemed very happy to be there and were very accomodating. Even wrestlers who I have not had good interactions with in the past seemed to have turned over a new leaf for this particular weekend. It was a thrill and and honor to sit with Mr Wrestling II at the Hall of Heroes banquet. He is a true legend and a class act and was the primary reason I attended this year's event. Randy Rose was an added surprise, as he also sat at our table and had some fun at the expense of our Alabamian table mates. While I did not attend the Bill Eadie Q and A, the Stan Hansen and David Schultz ones were excellent. Yes, Eddie couldn't get past a few things and insisted on repeating them several times. Hopefully, this weekend served as therapy for him and he can finally moved on. Schultz was great and Hansen spoke more than I have ever heard from him. The autograph sessions all ran quite smoothly. Even the first one on Saturday, which was a stacked lineup, seemed to end on time. The 4 hour blocks made all the difference. Kudos to the ladies who worked the photo op pick up table. They have the patience of saints. Also props to Photo Op camera man Dave, as well as the young lady taking photo ops. I agree with Rockland about the photo ops being printed out and signed. It does seem to take quite a bit of time and does cause for a lot of work (on those to ladies part) and some chaos at their table. In addition, some never seemed to come out to the table (as I am missing a few). Other than that minor issue, this was the most relaxed and stress free I have ever been at one of these NWA Legends convention. Thanks to Mr. Price for another awesome job. All other promoters should take notes and learn a thing or two.
