First and foremost I want to thank Greg Price and his staff for yet another outstanding ,and sometimes overlooked,outstanding job!!
 
Just a few comments:
 
Greg's staff:  Whenever I saw any of them I made the effort to say hello and to thank them for all their help...from Tommy G and the gang,to the guys at the doors...autograph lines..the PIPER photo ops to the great people helping me when I went to pick up my photo ops..which by the way,I always seemed to be very lucky in that anytime I walked up to the table,even with the new stacks of photos being brought out,mine were usually right at or near the top! And I got every single one that I paid for(except the memphis legends one,but i was in the autograph line and missed it) And I can't remember her name.but to the sweet lady who was still working even when she was feeling sick,Just wanted to say thanks and hope you are feeling better!
 
The photo ops: Spent more money on these this year than in all the other years combined! lol  but well worth it as getting to meet PIPER was great....and meeting guys like Buddy Colt,Scrappy McGowan,Steve O,Moondog Rex and all the great ladies of the past and the rest was just fantastic! Most of you that know me know i prefer the photo op memories over autographs and this week I got some great memories!
 
Vendor Talent:
Big shout out to the LOTR people for their great package and was an honor to me to meet some of the greats they had in that gropu! Terrance and his staff were fantastic!!
 
Budman 's group was also great to deal with...meeting a southern legend like Jerry Stubbs was great for an old mid-south and SECW fan such as myself...and meeting Pampero Firpo....what more can I say...a great legend from the past and a helluva nice guy!
 
Having Haku nearly choke the life out of me more than once while trying to get my pic with him was interesting to say the least! lol
 
Meeting Lawler and Dundee was fantastic too!
 
The Hall of Heroes:  A fantastic event with some great induction and acceptance speeches.  Was fortunate to be seated with Gordon Solie's daughter/Nick Bockwinle and STEVE O....just a great time yet again!
 
On a side note...this was the first time Steve O has ever done anything like this and to say that when he left the business..he really left the business..well that would be an understatement!  This guy seemed as excited to be there as us fans and him genuinely asking us questions and wanting to know us is alot different than having us fans doing the only questioning! Someone needs to do a shoot with this guy asap!!Some of the stories he told were great..especially the one about Mean Gene's karaoke talents! lol
 
 
The Q & A's: Missed the Masked Superstar one as we drove from the east to Atlanta but heard nothing but great thinga about it!
 
I'll be honest and say I walked out on nthe Shultz/Mansfield one as Mansfield ruined it for me...repeating the same statements over and over and basically just trying to get himself over and not letting Shultz get in a word edge wise ruined it for me...not saying it was that way for everyone and not complaining at all...just being honest why I left!
 
Stan Hansen's was fantastic! Nuff Said!
 
 
The Fans:
Was great finally meeting some of the board members that I haven't met before  like Adrian,Mr and Mrs panther fan, Nate the Great and Sir British Bulldog( want some more tequila? lol)  You guys were great to meet and hope to see ya again!
 
There were so many more who i unfortunately never asked for their "board " name that I met who were great to talk to!
 
And to first time attendee Dave and his niece Amanda...just great people! This girl pulled a rib on her uncle that included help from Tully Blanchard that went off flawlessly!! It was one of the funniest things ever and this 15 yo though it up all herself(and I won't deny i really...REALLY  encouraged her to go thru with it! lol)
 
And to the young couple from England...just fantastic meeting you both and seeing what great true fans you were! Hope the long trip home was a safe one!
 
All in all a fantastic weekend and one I will always remember and appreciate!
 
And finally..GREG PRICE:  I hope this doesn't come off too a$$ kissing like but what the hell...you want a shoot? I'll give ya a shoot!(Sorry...lol...had to throw in an Eddie Mansfield quote since he said it about a hundred times!)
 
GREG...nothing I could really say could express all the thoughts on you and all your hard and sometimes thankless work for these events!
I truly hope the people on the board aprreciate and respect all the hard work,logistics,bumps in the road and everything else you go thru in putting these events together! Unless we're there with ya while it's going on,we have no clue on what it takes to get this kind of event accomplished!
