Hey I wasn't able to make it to the Fest, but was interested to hear from anyone who met "The Wild Bull of the Pampas". He was one of my favorites growing up and a pretty rare guest at these types of events.

Firpo was one of my main reasons for wnting to hit this show...I thought for sure though that as an older dude from California, he had a great chance of a no- show...but he showed up and was really nice...looks nothing like his old Bruiser Brody wildman look...he seemed appreciative to be remembered and that fans wanted to meet him...you might see him at another convention someday, I think he had fun....

Wow, great to hear that he was a good guy. Hopefully he will do a show here and there in the future. I think he's been out of the picture for so long, there are a lot of older fans that would want to meet him

One of the main vendor guests I wanted to meet! Was a great experience as I had the chance to chat with him a bit and definitely doesn't look like he did ,but looking at that face ya knew it was the Wild Bull! And he really seemed like he was enjoying meeting all the fans!

I think there was enough popularity in firpo that hed make a good featured guest.
 
I'm actually also hoping for mr olympia again so I can find his mask online. He seemed real nice both days he was there and was all over the place.  
 
I didn't get either for financial reasons. I got. Almost every vendor but didn't want to pay 15 for them along with everyone else I was getting. They were the only vendors from budman I was interested in and were both eliminated from my final list of gotta gets and put on my maybe list. After buying the demott and hansen book I didn't get them.[
 
 So maybe we can see them again next year

Scott from crowbar press said he was coming and said he wound up just meeting him in the lobby and having him sign copies. Sunday morning he had the signed copies so I think he must of showed saturday sometime. I was hoping to meet him to. My copy is signed hopefully I can meet him and have him personalize it for me.
