Too early for 2012 wishlist?
Aug 10th, 2011, 6:59am

First another big thank you to Greg and his staff for an awesome job!  Enjoyed the weekend and can't believe it's already over!

Heard a lot of rumors that 2012 could be Greg's last fanfest.  Hope it's not true, but if it is, I am sure he'll go out with a bang.

So, here's some names from my wish list.  Also, I was trying to think of a theme.  Anyone have any thoughts?

- Dusty Rhodes
- Magnificent Muraco
- Michael Hayes
- One Man Gang
- Kevin Von Erich
- Ricky Steamboat
- Slick
- Gene Okerlund
- Sgt. Slaughter
- Barry Windham
- Arn Anderson
- Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane with Jim Cornette
- Randy Rose & Dennis Condrey with Paul E. Dangerously
- Mil Mascaras
- Bob Backlund
- Vader
- Bruno Sammartino & Larry Zbyszko

Thanks again, Greg!!!!!!!

Personally I'd put Steamboat WAAAAAAAAAAY at the top of my list for next year! He's simply a must have! lol

i'd also add to this list:

Kamala
Tito Santana
Kabuki
Mike Rotundo
Wendi Richter
Brutus Beefcake
Jimmy Garvin & Precious
Nikolai Volkoff
Wild Samoans
Mil Mascaras
Jake Roberts

Take your pick as whose featured and whose a vendor guest!

*** A KVE / Hayes / Roberts photo op would be amazing!

my list is short and repeats a lot of wants

KVE
Hayes/Roberts
Steiners
Rotundo
Spivey
Sullivan
Barry Windham
Arn
Ole
JJ
Tully
Zybsko
Eaton/Condrey/Lane
Cornette

as for a big guest gosh as I said last year don't know how Greg is gonna top what he did last year.  Maybe Stone Cold?  Heyman and get as much of the dangerous alliance that you can?

Turn out the lights would be great, but only if we can find Johnny Weaver singing it and have it played.

Been thinking of this since the trip home...

In no order...

Baron Von Rascke
Paul Jones
Rip Hawk (no idea how his health is...?)
Sgt. Slaughter
Tiger Conway Jr.
Donna Christanello & Toni Rose (Ruled the ladies tag title in the '70s, I know Donna would love it)
Nikita, Uncle Ivan, & Krusher Kruschev (I'm not a big fan of more than "tag team" photo ops, I feel they get crammed, but I can't believe this one hasn't been done yet considering they all look the same)
Michael Hayes
Jackie & Don Fargo (If you were at '09, you know that they were FUN!)
Dusty Rhodes
Velvet McIntyre (If anyone can get her to do a convention, it's Greg)
Adrian Street & Linda (They're GREAT!  Only did one show and they were awesome)
Butch Reed
Diamond Lil
Stan Lane & Steve Keirn  (Throw Jackie in for a Fabulous Ones op)
Dennis Condrey & Randy Rose
Phil Hickerson
Norvell Austin
Robert Fuller
Jimmy Golden
David Crockett
Jimmy Garvin
Precious
Steve Regal (The old school one...Mr. Electricity)

And I know everyone was asking for Kevin Von Erich years ago.  He's a great guest and I know at least one fan who would make his first Fanfest trip just for KVE.  I'm sure he's not the only one.

I love the idea of a Varsity Club reunion, but minus Barry Windham and Scott Steiner though as they were never members.  Maybe add Cheerleader Leia Meow?

Since going to these non stop since 2007 I've had the privalage of meeting several of the legends that I've wanted to meet. If this is truly the last one I am gonna request some of the more 'out there' names

For the "big name" any of the following...
Hulk Hogan
HBK
Steve Austin
Undertaker

I would also love to meet these names as featured or Vendor Guests.
Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat
Chris Jericho (if still not in WWE)
"Mean" Gene Okerlund
Jesse Ventura
Kenta Kobashi
The Great Muta
Jushin "Thunder" Liger
JBL
IRS

Would love to see some kind of tag team theme with the NWA/WCW teams of the past. I love this weekend each and every year and look forward to it! Greg, i hope this isnt the final one next year. Everyone truly has a great time, both fans and legends alike. Ok, so with tha said, here is my wishlist. I expect some flack from this but hey, you gotta dream right??

My wish list for 2012 Fanfest
Main Guest
Ricky Steamboat

Tag Teams
A Varsity Club reunion for sure (Rick Steiner, Mike Rotunda, Kevin Sullivan, Danny Spivey)

Ivan and Nikita Koloff and Krusher Krushchev
Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard
Magnum TA and Dusty Rhodes
Manny Fernandez and Dusty Rhodes
Lex Luger and Barry Windham
Jimmy Garvin and Michael Hayes
Rick and Scott Steiner
Ron Simmons and Butch Reed
Arn Anderson and Bobby Eaton
Arn Anderson and Larry Zbyszko
Ricky Steamboat and Dustin Rhodes
Barry Windham and Dustin Rhodes
Ricky Steamboat and Shane Douglas
Marcus Bagwell and 2 Cold Scorpio
Cactus Jack and Kevin Sullivan
Booker T and Stevie Ray
