March 10, 1982, "Hacksaw' Jim Duggan is the new Louisiana Heavyweight Champ and the tag team of Dino Bravo and Prince Tonga are the new Mid-South Tag Team Champs. The titles were decided during the March 9 TV taping.

The AWA has a new WORLD heavyweight champion in Wahoo McDaniel and new AWA World tag team champions in Jerry Lawler & Bill Dundee.
The CWA Southern Heavyweight belt is now vacant and since Wahoo is the World champion, we have him removed from the roster and former champion Nick Bockwinkel added.

We also release Tony Parisi and Ted Heath and bring back Curtis Smith and Jim Dalton who will be known as the Mighty Yankees. We also bring back Col. J.C. Dykes as our third manager.

NWA WWA reluctantly says good-bye to Bill Howard, Bill Smithson, Larry Sharpe, Mike Fever and Nick DeCarlo. NWA WWA activates Bob Geigel NWA WWA names Ken Mantell as the new President of the WWA and Pat O'Connor as V.P. of the WWA.
