Horsemen in 2012

Over the Limit is in Raleigh next week. Everyone has been wishing for Flair to return since his Hall of Fame appearance. I know this is wishful thinking, but what better place to make it happen than in NC? I'm taking my oldest son, and this is will be my first wwe event in over 5 years. I hope punk-bryan is given the chance to be what old school fans think the match can be. This is the way I would like to see it play out.
First, Randy Orton gets "screwed" in the four way WHC match, leaving him seething and hungry to taste gold again.
Then, Big Show regains the Intercontinental title.
Prior to the WWE Championship match, Ric Flair returns to join the announce table! Wooooo's break out for the rest of the night.
Punk & Bryan get 25-30 minutes to tear the house down... Orton shows up and attacks both men, causing the dq. Flair tries to intervene, stare down with Orton. Then Flair sucker punches Bryan or Punk, and Orton continues his onslaught. Flair motions to the back, and out comes Cody Rhodes, Dolph Ziggler, and Wade Barrett. Various faces come out for the attempted save, receiving the obligatory beatdown. Over the Limit fades to black with Flair surrounded by these four men, and raises that oh so familiar sign of the four fingers.
The promo explaining it all can come the next night on Raw. Orton feeling screwed and pushed out of the title hunt by wwe. Claims Bryan took his rightful spot by beating the clock. Flair says the future is here. He will bring the name of the Horsemen to prominence again for the next generation of fans.

I think this would be a good combination. Rhodes, Ziggler, and Barrett all seem to have the reputation right now of guys that are being "held back". This makes them relevant instantly, and puts Orton in the leadership role with Flair like Hunter was in Evolution. Rhodes and Ziggler take the tag titles with Barrett's help, & Barrett takes the IC title with help from his mates to garner more heat. Orton gets refreshed as a heel on Raw. Daniel Bryan can move to Raw and return to face status to capitalize more on the "YES" craze, teaming with Punk to fight off the new Horsemen. Orton goes over Punk and these guys have a true dominant run with all the titles. I know WWE seems to flop ALOT with long term plans, but I really think something like this could work. They could reign supreme through the end of the year. The inevitable cracks in the foundation could begin at Rumble next year, with the meltdown happening at Mania and PPV's following. A nice year long storyline that prepares Rhodes, Barrett, and Ziggler for the next level. Orton gets more respect from fans and the locker room by helping mold and get these guys over... and when used properly (which he is NOT in TNA) the rub from being associated with Flair is just an added bonus.

Your thoughts, folks?....

Flair needs one more good run in WWE.    The Horsemen induction was the best!    I was lucky enough to be there live.         Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
