Plus there will be a lot more action tonight.

The National TV champ “Superstar” Billy Graham talks to Jim Ross and says that the fat slob King Kong Bundy has one week before they meet again with Graham’s title. Graham is too big, too strong, too pretty for that walking building to take the gold from him. Bundy better bring his top game because anything else will finished quickly.

+ Single Match: Buzz Sawyer d. Charlie Cook with the powerslam. Sawyer keeps calling for Tommy Rich while in the match

Buzz Sawyer comes out to ringside and yells for Tommy Rich. He asks jim Ross where Rich is and when Ross tells him that Rich is not here this week, Sawyer starts laughing saying he is going to head to Rich’s house to go find him.

+ Konga the Barbarian b. The Road Warrior when RW is dq’ed after partner Paul Ellering interferes. The two on one brings out this massive 6’2, 300+ lb man from the crowd at ringside to help Barbarian. Ellering & RW leave for now

The massive man and Konga join Jim Ross. The man calls himself Leroy Brown like the song and like the song says he is the baddest man in the whole damn town. He says if them two muscleheads wanna throw down he is more than ready and ain’t scared to throw down too. Konga shakes his hand and says they are ready for Road Warrior and Ellering next time.

Much to the crowds delight, Austin Idol makes his way to the interview podium. He tells Jim Ross that the Heartthrob is back in Georgia and he is looking for someone. He says that person he is looking for is the Georgia champion Ted Dibiase. Idol says he knows ALL ABOUT the Ron Bass’s and the Masked Superstars, and the House of Humperdink and all the rest, but he wants the BEST WRESTLER in Georgia and that is Dibiase. He also says how the Georgia title will look great around his small waist too.

+ Single Match: Ron Bass b. Sonny Two Rivers in a brutal fashion until Bass just put a foot on the chest of Two Rivers to pin him

The Georgia champion Ted Dibiase is with Jim Ross. He says that Ron Bass has his title shot at the Omni on August 26. The bully will not get to do what he just did to Dibaise. The Georgia champ is on his way to the world title soon and no one will get in his way. Ross asks him about Austin Idol and all Dibaise could say was if Idol wants to get hurt, he can be next.

The REAL Midnight Express are out saying that later tonight they are making their run to the finals for the National tag belts. Randy Rose says that after that, just a few weeks later will be the run to the AWA World tag belts. Once they are the world champions, and they will be the world champion, they might retire as the best tag team in the nation and in the world. Ross tells them that today they have the Freebirds and with Buddy Roberts back, the ‘Birds are three strong. Norvell Austin tells Ross that the Midnight Express does not care. They have ways to deal with Roberts. Heck, Ross can just ask Jerry Brisco what those ways are. Ross tells them that was too much and sends us to the ring.

+ Tag Team Match: Mr. Wrestling I and II b. Masked Superstar and Harley Race when II delivers the high knee to Superstar

AWA World tag champ Jack Brisco is with Jimn Ross. He tells Ross that his brother is still having eye issues after the Midnight Express attacked him with the powder last week. That type of thing is not wrestling and it is not acceptable. What they have done is angered Jack and since his brother cannot help at this moment, he wants the Midnight Express, either of them in a singles match next week, IF they got the guts. Brisco says he will be here next week and if one of them do not come out willingly...well...Brisco says he will go get him.

============BREAK 4===========
Monday - Augusta, GA Bell Auditorium
Tuesday - Macon, GA Macon Coliseum
Wednesday - Columbus, GA Municipal Auditorium
Thursday - Rome, GA Memorial Gym
Friday – SECW WITH CCW & CWA
Chattanooga Memorial Auditorium - Saturday
Sunday afternoons Gainesville, GA Georgia Mountains Center
Sunday Night – Marietta Civic Center  -  Marietta, Georgia

The “One Man Gang” Ronnie Garvin comes out and again counts down the weeks until the Omni show and his AWA World heavyweight title shot. Next week the world champion will be here and so will Ron Garvin. Wahoo has been a good champion but now it is time for a real wrestler to take the title in to the 80’s. Wahoo is a tough guy but not as tough as Garvin.  Garvin says that Wahoo has not had time to rest since he has won the title and that will be the advantage Garvin has. While Wahoo has been facing different challengers night after night, Garvin has done nothing but concentrate on Wahoo. August 26 will be Wahoo’s end date.

+ National Tag Team Tourny (Second Round): The Fabulous Freebirds b. The Original, REAL Midnight Express when Randy Rose attempts to throw the salt in the eyes of Gordy, but is stopped by Buddy Roberts from outside of the ring. The Ref calls the DQ.

Ole and Gene Anderson are with Jim Ross. Ole says that next week the Andersons will be heading to the finals of the National tag tourny. Then the Briscos will have some answering to do. Ole and Gene are THE tag team in the world today and there is no doubting that fact. Now...Ole says there is nothing personal against Masked Superstar. He is a great wrestler but next week it will be business and it will be a favorable outcome for the Andersons. There are no teams better and when you look at wrestling, you see Anderson. When the National tag tourney ends, you again will see Anderson.

Idolmania is sweeping the nation and I love it!  DiBiase best not overlook him...Looking forward to the SBG/Bundy clash...Rich won't be hard to find, hope the Mad Dog is ready...Great win by my favorites, Mr. Wrstling 1 & 2...Garvin may just be the man to beat Wahoo...Fantastic win for the 'Birds...Can't wait for the Freebirds and Andersons to go to war...Really nice work Mikey!

The Wrestlings beat Race/'Star on a TV match? Awesome. The Express may regret hurting Brisco and still flapping their yaps about it. Graham with a strong challenge to Bundy. The Freebirds and The Andersons should get the whole family around the set. And, Idolamania is in the wings, along with Rich-Sawyer.

Great stuff.
