Mid Atlantic Catch Up
Oct 1st, 2012, 8:22pm

Mid Atlantic catch up for September

PAUL JONES with JJ DILLON and United States Champion TERRY ALLEN have been wrestling to draws all over the Carolinas and Virginias.  Jones is keeping up the pressure on Allen’s knee with the Indian Death Lock and Dillon being his sneaky self. Dillon turns up the heat even further on the US Champion brining in from Japan the dangerous wrestler JUMBO TSURUTA.  On the Mid Atlantic show shown on the 27TH a vicious attack from Tsuruta, Jones and Dillon focus on the right knee of Allen and before he is saved by RICK STEAMBOAT and JAY YOUNGBLOOD.  The damage was done and Dillon’s group is saying that Allen is done.

WALDO VON ERICH’s triumvirate of THE IRON SHEIK, IVAN KOLLOF and NIKOLAI VOLKOFF have been leaving the wake of their destruction.  They have defeated the team of JIM DUGGAN, Rick Steamboat, and Jay Youngblood to retain the Mid Atlantic Six Man Trophy and have run THE ROUGEAU brothers out of town.  They continue to say that the team of Steamboat and Youngblood are not worthy of a tag title shot.

The Iron Sheik and Jim Duggan have been exchanging blood and blows throughout the area, with Duggan falling just short thanks to Waldo Von Erich.  The Sheik is still refusing to get into a cage with Duggan, saying he is not an animal.

THE MIGHTY IGOR overpowered RAY ‘HERCULES’ HERNANDEZ for the Mid Atlantic TV Title on the 21st of month in their first title match.  Igor has held on to the belt in rematches, and has won over MISTER FUJI and won by disqualification over THE GREAT KABUKI

JIMMY VALLIANT AND AL SNOW have had their hands full with the aforementioned Kabuki and Fuji, as they have left both men on the sidelines in the past few weeks by a green mist from Kabuki to Valliant and Fuji throwing the ceremonial salt in Snow’s eyes.  Snow and Valliant are swearing revenge and telling BILLY SPEARS that he will be next in line after Kabuki and Fuji.

The Tag teams of JOHNNY WEAVER and NELSON ROYAL, THE NEW ZEALAND SHEEPHERDERS and the UK’s own JOHNNY SAINT AND KENDO NAGASAKI have been impressing the fans with some great matches.

MIKE ROTUNDA and BOBBY DUNCUM have been going back and forth and trading wins.

Next week on TV the Mid Atlantic Tag Champs will face off against a new team of the IVAN PUTSKI and the TV champ the Mighty Igor.

TUNE IN.

Allen is going to have to suck it up big time to beat Dillon and Co. Love your Foreign Powers deal. Weaving Jay and Steamer through it is great. Duggan vs. Sheik is money. Applaud your use of Igor. I am really taking a liking to Snow/Valiant team. That's what fantasy is all about.

Good stuff.

Great recap...Love the direction Mid-Atlantic is headed...My money is on Jones to topple the youngster Allen...Waldo's troops look strong...Love that Igor has the TV belt...Tag scene here is solid...Rotundo/Duncum would be good...Nice work James!

Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience!

This territory has a nice feel of creativity & unpredictability to it that is appealing.  Some straightforward stuff but a lot of interesting feuds, factions and programs seem to be the order of the day.

An interesting place!
