The Mercenaries b. Owen Hart and Mike Shaw when Lefebvre piledrives Hart

The Mercenaries are with Ed Whalen. Lefebvre tells Whalen that it is one more day until he and Frenchy Martin will get their hands on the Smiths. They have been waiting a long time to end the career of those English twits. The French had won many wars against the English and now, tomorrow, there will be a no holds barred, everything can go match and Davey and Johnny Smith are heading out of wrestling.

David “Fit” Finlay b. Johnny Smith with a rolling fireman’s carry type slam

Finlay grabs the mic from Whalen’s hand, yelling for Dynamite Kid. He tells the fans that last week he demolished that loser. He sees there are a lot of European wrestlers here, a lot of English wrestlers here. Canada is part of the “British Commonwealth”, but he is Irish. He is the toughest man in the UK and the entire Commonwealth. Now he is in Stampede he will show he is the toughest man in the AWA as well. His first victim will be Dynamite Kid. There will never be a last victim because EVERYONE WILL BE A VICTIM OF THE BELFAST BRUISER!!!!
/
Jim Neidhart w/JR Foley b. Billy Two Eagles with a running football style clothesline

Neidhart confronts Foley in the ring. He asks about the comments Whalen told him about last week and Foley lies, saying that Whalen made them up. Neidhart is not just a place holder but he is the crown jewel of Foley’s Army. Whalen tells Foley to tell the truth but Foley is adamant about what was said. Whalen tells Neidhart that next week he will have the tape of Foley saying the disparaging remarks about Neidhart. Foley pleads with Neidhart not to listen while Neidhart just tells Foley that he better not be lying.

The International tag team belts will be back around the waist of a Hart sooner than later because there are not a lot of teams left that the Harts have not beat. Tomorrow night there is a 6-man match that will pit Bruce and Keith to team with their brother Owen against The Sports Agents and Kerry Brown and when the Harts win….let’s just say Bruce and Keith want their title shot next week.
/
British Commonwealth Mid-Heavyweight Belt: Champion “The Great” Gama Singh b. Sonny Two Rivers with the Karachi Clutch submission

As much as I was impressed watching Johnny Smith and Davey boy, I have to say the Mercenaries are about to kill them. Finlay wanting to fight Dynamite, not wrestle but FIGHT.... just wow.  Harts win another and Neidhart is learning what Foley is all about... Very nice and solid Stampede. Can't go wrong with that at all Mike.

The Mercenaries are going to leave a lot of carnage in their path. I am hoping for a big dose of the Belfast Brawler. Liking the slow burn of Neidhart here. Hoping that Harts get those belts soon. The Stomper as a force for good is different but very believeable as you have set it up.

Solid.

Really well-constructed post with the ads for live shows and other such details.  VERY solid matches here and I am seeing some good programs that will be very entertaining.

About the only thing I'd suggest is that this show was a bit low-key on promos.  I think you have some good talkers and more to talk about.  Always a treat to get the insight on what is hot right from the horse's mouths.

A darn strong territory with oodles of talent to work with, sir.

Really good TV here...I agree with the Mercenaries destroying the Smiths...At this stage, I give DK the edge over Finlay...I always liked when Gouldie was a face in Stampede and you are portraying him well...Nice work Mikey!

Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience!
