WWF ALL AMERICAN WRESTLING 9/22/82 David vs. Sharp
Oct 7th, 2012, 11:57am

All American Wrestling
Airing on USA Network
From Ag Hall in Allentown
And Hamburg Fieldhouse
9/22/82

Vince Mcmahon and Bruno Sammartino open the show talking about the big card coming up at Maple Leaf Gardens on Oct. 7th. They talk about David Sammartino facing Iron Mike Sharpe in the main event today.

INTERVIEWS ON THE SHOW TODAY:

CAPT LOU ALBANO talks about how Killer Khan is going to wipe the floor with Rocky Johnson. He also makes  a play for Ted Dibiase, saying he will guide his career in the ways Ted has only dreamed about.

BAD NEWS ALLEN talks about getting in the ring Oct 7th against Dino Bravo for the WWF title. He talks about his time in Canada does not make Bravo having that big of an advantage. Allen will beat Bravo and hurt him in the process.

BRUNO and DAVID SAMMARTINO along with PEDRO MORALES talk about Oct 7th and them facing Bobby Heenan’s family. Bruno wants to finally get his hands on Heenan’s guys. He tells David to not take Mike Sharpe lightly today and David says he has it handled.

EDDIE GILBERT talks about how Ted Dibiase thinks he is the next big thing, but he is not even the best second generation wrestler here in the WWF. Gilbert has been taught the right way in wrestling and Dibiase is trash. He wants to face Dibiase next week on the show.

TED DIBIASE laughs when he talks about Eddie Gilbert, and agrees they will face each other next week on this show. He vows that Eddie Gilbert will wish he never opened his mouth.
CHAVO GUERRERO talks with DOS CARAS about teaming up on the Oct 7th card in Toronto to face Tony Garea and Rick Martel and their open contract. They can pick up some easy money and maybe move up the tag team ranks. Dos is hesitant but he agrees.

BOBBY HEENAN has his guys out there, and he talks about how the Sammartino’s must have a death wish facing his guys and Pedro Morales better keep that belt tightly around his waist because one of the family will take his belt.

DINO BRAVO is ready to face Bad News Allen, he has a lot of friends and family going to be there and he will not let them down. He is not afraid of Allen and will beat him one two three.

MATCHES:

FROM AG HALL:

BAD NEWS ALLEN DEF. FRANK DUSEK with a kick to the back of the head and pin.

EDDIE GILBERT DEF. STEVE TRAVIS with a suplex and then a pin

FROM HAMBURG FIELDHOUSE:

DOS CARAS DEF. EL SICODELlICO via a plancha off the top rope

In the Main Event:

DAVID SAMMARTINO DEF. IRON MIKE SHARPE w/BOBBY HEENAN via DQ
Sammartino was on a roll after making a comeback and was about to win the match, when Buddy Landel and Curt Hennig hit the ring and triple team him until, Bruno and Pedro come in and make the save.

VINCE AND BRUNO talk about how Ted Dibiase will face Eddie Gilbert in the main event next week along with Bad News, Bravo and the tag champs are here.

Love the format  Wink

Bravo vs Allen is not your typical WWF main event, but hopefully it plays out well.  Like the idea of the Sammartino family fight the Heenan family.

Never cared for Pedro, so I hope someone quickly takes the belt from him.

Looking forward to see how DiBiase does here.

I also note that you are trying this format - it is a good, clear, easy read.  I see a lot of advantages for a writer.  The one I've seen elsewhere that can be clunky is that the odd promo needs to be in sequence.

I think it would be a great thing for the WWF to feature the lucha guys regularly, as we saw today.

Heenan MUST be threatening Iron Mike with deportation AND demotion to the bush leagues.

Good TV.  Attractive feuds/angles going.

Akbar and DiBiase could be, dare I say it, devastating. David has it handled? HMMMN! The brother vs. brother match of Dos and Sico would have been very interesting. Exciting match-up of Eddie and Ted.

Good stuff.
