Vince Mcmahon and Bruno Sammartino talk about today’s action, including Eddie Gilbert vs. Ted Dibiase in a match up nobody should miss. They talk about Oct 7th and the Ted Dibiase sweepstake continue.

BOBBY HEENAN has his guys out there and talks about how Oct 7th cannot get here quick enough. He is going to rid the WWF of the Sammartino’s including getting rid of Bruno. He then talks about how Ted Dibiase would be a perfect fit for his family and with title shots coming to his guys he could get Ted one in a heart beat.
BAD NEWS ALLEN is ready for his big match coming up next Sunday, he is going to walk out of Maple Leaf Gardens with the WWF belt not a thing Bravo can do about it.
 
TONY GAREA and RICK MARTEL talk about facing Chavo and Dos next Sunday, they have the advantage of being a long term team. Not a team thrown together to capitalize on money. They are going to be the number one contenders for the WWF belts.
 
DINO BRAVO holds the belt as he talks about returning to Canada, he wants all of the fans to know he is going to win this match for them. He is going to defeat Bad News in the middle of the ring for the fans.
 
CHAVO GUERRERO and DOS CARAS talk about their tag match with Garea and Martel. They are asked about their rivalry for the World Jr Title. Dos is hesitant again and Chavo dismisses it that they have a common goal and will achieve it.
 
PRINCE TONGA and SD JONES talk about facing the Japanese team on Oct 7th, They have beaten the best and this will be one more test for them. They are going to keep the belts and move up the World title scene in a hurry.
 
BRUNO and DAVID SAMMARTINO talk about Bobby Heenan and how he is going to stick his nose in their business one too many times and get beat for it. Bruno wants David to concentrate on his career and not have to worry about looking over his shoulder with Bobby’s family.

MAIN EVENT:
 
TED DIBIASE vs. EDDIE GILBERT
This match is ruled a no contest, after Dibiase brutally works over Gilbert. Gilbert gets some offense but Ted takes over. In the end, he hits a piledriver in the center of the ring, Gilbert does not move and the ref calls for the match to end. The crowd is silent as Gilbert is placed on a stretcher and wheeled from the arena.
 
TED DIBIASE talks about how his stock just went up as he crippled Gilbert and this should be a lesson that nobody in the WWF mess with him.
 
VINCE and BRUNO talk about how Gilbert suffered a broken neck and will not be back to a WWF ring anytime soon. They hope for him to have a speedy recovery but it looks bad. Next week Bruno will face Curt Hennig in the main event, Dino Bravo will be here, Killer Khan is there, and Garea/Martel will be there as well.

Boy, what a Kodak moment of Gilbert being taken away on the stretcher. Ironic that DiBiase used the piledriver. Akbar seems primed to explode. Heenan is right to recruit some higher profile talent.
