The Fabulous Ones & Killer Tim Brooks take on Butcher Vachon, Terry Gibbs, & Chick Donovan in an exciting opener. Stan pins Gibbs after a double DDT from the Fabs.

A VTR is shown with NWA Tag Champions Gino Hernandez & Jimmy Garvin in the ring at an empty arena in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where they preparing for a huge card at Hiram Bithorn Stadium. Gino says that they are ready for anything at Labor Day Star Wars. He hopes that they face new Texas Tag Champions The Fabulous Ones because the Fabs need to be shown that they are not the most exciting, best looking team in wrestling. Garvin points out that the Fabulous Ones will defend their belts on TV next week against the Moondogs and he would rather face them because at least they’ll know what they are getting while Stan and Steve are sneaky cheaters.

Ox Baker and the Moondogs (Spot, King, & Rex) do an interview. Ox says that later today all three Moondogs will wrestler the Von Erichs. Ox had heard that the Von Erichs wanted this as a “warm up” for their match with the Funks for the International Six Man trophy.  Ox says they will beat them up instead, just like they did the Fabulous Ones last week. Ox also talks about Moondog King’s dog collar match with Killer Brooks at Labor Day Star Wars. Ox predicts Killer will be carried out on a stretcher!

Tatsumi Fujinami & Akio Sato take on Chris Adams & Salvatore Bellomo. Fujinami pins Bellomo after a German suplex. During the match, Bill Mercer says that there will be no draw when Adams and Fujinami meet in the match to determine the number one contender to the NWA Junior Heavyweight Title at labor Day Star Wars because there will be no time limit!

Ernie Ladd, Bad Pez Whatley, & Lord Alfred Hays are interviewed. Whatley says that he has real friends on his side now and not some backstabber like Iceman Parsons! Hays says that unlike his association with that peasant Alberto Madril, he now is affiliated with the King of Men, Ernie Ladd! Ladd starts his usual bragging when Iceman comes out and says he challenges Whatley and Ladd to a tag match at Labor Day Star Wars. Ladd says that a man would have to be fool to associate with a goofy looking punk like Parsons, but he and Pez accept! Iceman then challenges Ladd to face him right here and right now! They get in the ring and at first, Ladd dominates, but Whatley knocks him out of the ring with a romper stumper! Whatley jumps in, but before he can do anything, Iceman dropkicks him out of the ring! Hays decides that discretion is the better part of valor and leads his men away as Iceman boogies down!

Johnny Rich & Lars Anderson take Tom Renesto, Jr. & Jerry Bryant. Lars gets the win for his team with the stepover arm bar. Mercer says that at Labor Day Star Wars, this team will face whoever loses the Texas Tag Title match next week.

Scott Casey takes on Juan Reynosa and beatsJuan by countout after bulldogging him on the concrete floor! The Double Cross Gang do a ringside interview afterwards and vow to not only defeat their opponents at Labor Day Star Wars, but to run them out of “their state”!

The Von Erichs take on Moondogs Rex, Spot, & King (w/Ox Baker) in a wild match. Kevin hits a flying bodypress on Spot and looks to have scord the pin, but Baker comes in and clobbers Kev over the head with one of there Moondog bones to earn his men a DQ! Killer Brooks hits the ring, swinging his chain and clears the ring of the ‘Dogs! Then, the double Cross gang hits the ring and attacks the Von erichs! The Fabulous Ones come in to help, but when the Moondogs help the Double Ceross Gang, the odds are too much! Finally, Randy Savage runs in and starts clobbering Moondogs and Double Cross guys with his title belt to clean house and save the Von Erichs and Fabulous Ones!

The show opens with Lord Alfred hayes and his newest charges, Ernie” King of Men” ladd and Bad Pez Whatley being ringside. On Labor Day, at Labor Day Star Wars, Ladd & Whatley will tajke on Iceman Parsons snd his partner. Ladd says that regardless of who the partner is, be it Andre, Dusty Rhodes, or even Fritz Von Erich, he will be no match for Ladd and Whatley! “We Are Family” hits and Iceman comes to the ring for the first bout, with Puerto Rico’s top star Carlos Colon!

Colon & Parsons take on Tom Renesto, Jr. & Jery Bryant in the opening match. Carlon looks unbeatable as he and Iceman dominate. Iceman pins Renesto after the Rumper stumper. As Ladd, Whatley, & Hays watch at ringside. After the match, Iceman and Carlos invite their future opponents into the ring, but Hays leads them away…

A music video, set to ”Eye of the Tiger” is shown of the Von Erichs training, with Fritz leading the session. Highlights include: Kerry hitting a heavy bag with the discus punch and Fritz, who was holding the bag, going down from the impact. Kerry helps his dad up afterwards and dustds him off. Fritz showing Kerry a counter to the spinning toehold, and Kevin bursting a bag of feed with his scissors hold.  The three brothers break a sheet of plywood that Fritz and another man are holding up by hitting it with their triple dropkick. The video ends with Fritz and the boys all doing the squash an apple with the iron claw trick.

Stan Hansen collides with David Von Erich in the next match. Randy Savage comes to ringside to observe. One by one, the other members of the Double Cross Gang and the other Von Erichs drift down to ringside. The Von Erichs and Savage brawl with the Funks and Scott Casey at ringside as Hansen and David go at it in the ring. Finally, David ducks a Hansen lariat and rolls the bad man from Borger up for the three count !

The Fabulous Ones defend the recently won Texas Tag Team Titles against Moondogs Spot & Rex (w/Ox Baker). Stan Lane took quite a beating in this one, but the Fabs outsmarted the ‘dogs as Stecve rolled up Spot for the pin after he and Stan pulled the ol’ switcheroo.

Johnny Rich and Lars Anderson do an interview about their match with the Moondogs at Labor Day Star Wars. They admit that the Moondogs are tough, but Lars points out that he comes from the greatest tag team wrestling family of them all and that he has one of the fastest rising young wrestlers in the country as his partner. Rich points out that the Fabs just proved that the Moondogs can be outsmarted. Johnny says that he has learned a lot form working out with Lars the last few weeks and that the Moondogs and Ox Baker are in for the fight of their lives on Labor Day!

Chris Adams took on Akio Sato. Tatsumi Fujinami seconded Sato for this match. Adams won after a backslide. The ”Gentleman From England” and “the Dragon” nearly came to blows after the match, adding intrigue to their upcoming no time limit match at Labor Day Star Wars to determine the top contender to Chavo Guerrero’s NWA World Junior Heavyweight title.

Two great TV's leading up to the Labor Day show...A real man like Savage helping those dirty, rotten Von Eriches is just wrong lol...Fabs are looking good...Like Hays with Ladd and Whatley...Adams/Fujinami is going to be good...Great work!

Darn, read these out of order.  Good set up for the Labor Day show.

Von Erichs & Moondogs on TV would be a heckuva treat.

Really interesting team of Rich and Anderson. Savage, as a tweener, would have had the suport of the rabid Texas fans. Good to see Brooks featured here. Love the Ladd/Whatley association here. Hoping to see more from Adams, as far as being the dominant Junior challenger.

Great show.
