WWF TAG TITLE MATCH:

KING TONGA/SD JONES vs. TENRYU/SAITO w/SKANDOR AKBAR

Tonga and Jones come out and control the match, much to the delight of the fans but the dismay of Akbar. They work over both Devastation Inc. Members. Their tags are crisp and clean and they get numerous two counts. But Saito baits SD into chasing him into a corner and then moves out of the way. Now the Japanese team is in control. They cut off the ring and keep SD in their corner, they will not let up as they give out punishment after punishment. SD keeps trying to make a hot tag but is cut down every time. Finally, after making his tag Tonga clears the ring. Tonga is working over Saito when Tenryu comes to try and break it up. SD comes in and intercepts him and a full scale brawl erupts. While the ref is trying to break up Tenryu and Jones, Akbar waits until Tonga has his back to him and he blasts him with a ringside chair. Tonga is down, Saito rolls him over and makes the cover. The ref turns around and makes the three count.

When David is tagged in he is cut down and worked over. David is caught in no man’s land and is pounded incessantly. David keeps trying to tag out to his dad but is caught. The crowd sensing David is in trouble really get behind him and encourage him along. Finally, he makes the hot tag and his dad really cleans house. Bruno works over Sharpe and catches him in a boston crab, but Landel and Hennig try to make the save and Pedro/David come in and make they pay. They clear the ring so it is just Bruno with Sharpe in the crab. Finally, Sharpe has had enough and gives up.

WINNERS: PEDRO MORALES AND BRUNO/DAVID SAMMARTINO

Bruno is happy but you can tell David is down on himself about having his dad bail him out. Meanwhile Heenan gets in Sharpe’s face about giving up and Sharpe blasts Heenan, then he works over both Landel and Hennig tossing them from the ring. Finally, he stands on the top rope and gets the crowds approval in attendance.

WWF TITLE MATCH:

DINO BRAVO vs. BAD NEWS ALLEN

This match is going to be a war, once it starts both men really go after each other. Bravo is really worked over in the beginning, Allen wants that belt and will not stop until he gets it. He gets numerous two counts but after not being able to do that, he tosses Bravo through the ropes and to the outside. He slams his head into the steps and them tosses him into the guardrail. Finally, he tries to piledrive Bravo on the platform leading out to the ring, but Bravo gives him a back drop instead. Bravo makes a comeback and slams Allen on the platform. Bravo tosses him back into the ring and suplexes him. He gives him fists to the face and drops an elbow on him. After hitting a power slam, he signals for his side suplex. He gets Allen up and delivers a big side suplex. He makes the cover and gets the three count.

Good use of the talent from top to bottom on this card.  I enjoyed the match-ups tremendously.  I can see something building between David and Bruno, and I don't think it will please the fans down the road!  Wink

The Main Event of Bravo against Bad News is money all the way.  I don't know if those two ever tangled in the real world, but I'm looking forward to some more bruising brawls between them!

Replied sir.  Ya know, I remember the screen name "PolishPowderKeg", but never put it together that was "PPK"!  Makes sense of the Universe now.   Wink

Great card!  Knew Guerrero/Caras wouldn't be able to be a solid unit...Nice win for Johnson...Big win for Muraco over Tito...Congrats to the new tag champs...Fantastic 6-man, but David seems headed for a road he will regret...Fantastic win for Bravo...Excellent work!

I was surprised to see Chavo had no guts. Good win by Martel and Garea. Rocky will find somebody and those two animals will pay dearly. The Akbar reign of gold begins its tenure in the WWF. Congrats. Sharpe doing what he did after the match does say something about this Heenan Family. Interesting development about David's outlook. Impressive, clean win by Bravo over Allen. Gotta admit, I didn't see that coming.

Great card. PPK, you are really sticking you stamp on the WWF. Keep it coming.

Get these WWF smart alecks off my lawn!  Good show, I'm with Watts Fan, all the points have been made!

Except maybe Mike Sharpe looking like weak link for Heenan here.  Just when I was marking for the former tag champs - I must have hexed them.

Got a chuckle over this Resling guy not being clear on screen names!
