Real good house shows...Not a fan of a Weaver/Royal heel unit, but it is what it is and I look forward to seeing where it's heading...Great win by the Dean over Youngblood...Duggan looked good...Magnum & Steamer made an exciting combo...Great win for Sheik....Great work!

The fans in Fayetteville would have been happy to see Steamboat and allen but one fellow in a Custom 500 would have been distraught at seeing his hero Johnny weaver cheat like that. Actually, I am enjoying the heel run for Royal and Weaver. Nice win for Duggan. A few years and Smothers/Pritchard have potential. LOL! Valiant getting pinned by the Iron Sheik would have had the Lumberton faithful ready to riot.

Solid.

I also like the heel run by Weaver and Royal who were so popular in the Mid-Atlantic over the years. And Tracey Smotherns and Tom Pritchard would be an potential exciiting young team if kept together. I enjoy someone using Waldo as a manager. He was one of my favorite heels in McGuirk-Watts land in the 1970's.  Cool

Weaver / Royal is not only interesting, I am enjoying it being played fairly subtly.  I was shocked by Igor taking Hercules' strap but it looks like Herc is gonna do something about it.

Quite enjoy MACW in the way the veterans are handled so well.  It is easy to lose sight of that.

And for some reason, Lumberton sounds like a place that would go nuts for the midgets!  As these are not "A List" venues I think the star power was nicely restrained.

I have to say, I'm a little bit disappointed seeing Jumbo Tsuruta as a stereotypical salt-throwing Japanese heel. If he's going to be a heel, make him a heel. Kabuki, obviously, sprays mist, and Fuji is a aged, limited worker. But when there are several guys all doing the same thing, it means less, and besides, Jumbo's cab able of so much more.

I am sorry that I haven't got to post more.  I look at Tsuruta as a suplex machine, a bad man. I had a run with him previously in the WWF with him pinning Ric Flair for the IC Belt.  I think he needs a manager to get him over the top and JJ can do that. Kabuki and Fuji are going to be the more 'typical heel' Japanese and I think Valliant would be a great yet odd mentor for the young Al Snow.

I hope to get my TV caught up by the weekend and my house show booker is kicking butt.
