9/21 Edition

El Solitario & Lizmark defeated "Unpredictable" Java Ruuk & Super Medico in 14 minutes of wall-to-wall action when Solitario pinned Medico with a victory roll.

King Kong Bundy & "Fabulous" Luke Graham (with the Grand Wizard) defeated Professor Toru Tanaka & Riki Choshu in 6 minutes when Bundy crushed Choshu with a kneedrop while Graham and Tanaka traded loaded thumbs outside the ring.

"If you have a rat problem, you get a cat," the Wizard said afterwards. "If you have a cat problem, you get a dog. If you have a crazy problem, you get someone crazier, and that's just what I've done. Bugsy McGraw, I have had a long, profitable relationship with the Graham family. When I called Luke Graham, he was more than happy to come here and deal with you."

"Boy, I'm going to be on you like flies on manure," Graham said. "If you're a little touched in the head now, wait 'til I get thru with you."

"Maniac" John Tolos defeated Atsushi Onita in 2 minutes following a kneedrop from the second rope. Tolos brutalized Onita all over the ring and the ringside area.

"As everyone knows, you can't spell wrestling without T-O-L-O-S," Tolos said postmatch. "And if you want, you can spell violence the same way. Everybody in the City of Angels knows exactly what I can do."

Tolos then took the ring bell and beat on Onita some more.

United States Heavyweight Champion Pat Patterson & Ray "The Crippler" Stevens defeated Maurice "Mad Dog" Vachon & Baron von Raschke in 16 minutes when Patterson pinned Raschke with a rolling cradle. This was another match that went all over the place. Patterson bled from the brain claw before coming back for the win.

9/28 Edition

International Tag Team Titles Co-holder "Wild" Bill Irwin (with International Tag Team Titles Co-holder Scott "Hogg" Irwin) defeated Samula in 5 minutes following a big boot to the face.

"There ain't no teams that can beat us," Bill said postmatch. "Me and Scott, we 'been thinkin' we may need to take more singles matches if we're going to actually get a challenge."

"Not today though," Scott added. "Hahaha!"

World Television Champion Billy Robinson wrestled Hiro Matsuda to a 15-minute draw. Neither man had an advantage, and were rolling around the mat trying to put each other in leglocks as the time expired. The shook hands after the match.

"That is a man I can respect," Robinson said afterwards. "He's a man of real talent, real wrestling talent."

Kelly Kiniski upset the "Intelligent, Sensational" Destroyer in 6 minutes following a backbreaker. The Destroyer literally thru a temper tantrum in the ring as Kiniski celebrated the big win.

Black Gordman & Great Goliath defeated Bugsy McGraw & Dick the Bruiser by disqualification in 7 minutes. King Kong Bundy and "Fabulous" Luke Graham hit the ring and attacked the NEw Mexicans so they could get McGraw and Bruiser disqualified, then laid the boots to them. A three-team brawl erupted, and it took several police officers and half the wrestlers backstage to restore some semblance of order.

Bundy and Graham with some great strategy to get at Bruiser and McGraw. Loved Tolos and his craziness here. Bundy and Graham facing Tanaka/Choshu was awesome. As was, Stevens/Patterson vs. Baron/Mad Dog. I don't know what moved me more: Kiniski winning or Destroyer losing.

Brian, PWF has some of the highest quality TV bouts around. A thrilling read every time out.

Same as last review and really liked both The Wizard / Graham promo and the John Tolos I remember.  Gee, if Onita "mustered" someone like Fuchi to join him, I'd "relish" seeing them try to "Ketch-up" to the Maniac's style.

Just a "concession" to a possible story...
