TV Highlights
-CCW champion, Bob Armstrong, talks about the challengers to his title. He says that Kamala, Crusher Blackwell, and Exotic Adrian Street all have tried and failed. He says Street has a shot tonight in the Boutwell Auditorium. He promises the people of Alabama that he will defend the title with honor.
-Les Thornton is interviewed and says his goal is to take the AWA World Jr. title from Tiger Mask. He says that the easiest way to receive a shot would be to go through Mike Graham and win the US Jr. title. He says that will happen tonight.
-Mr. Olympia is interviewed. He says that Kamala is a threat to every man, woman, and child in Alabama and he will do whatever it takes to rid Alabama of the Ugandan beast.
-Don Carson comes out with his CCW tag team champions, The Grapplers. Carson brags that there isn’t one team in CCW that can beat his Grapplers. He asks why his team has to face youngsters, Brad Armstrong and Terry Taylor tonight on the Boutwell card. He says it is like leading the lambs to slaughter.
-Ron Fuller says that tonight at the Boutwell, he has big Crusher Blackwell. He says the big man is going to be a great challenge, but he knows he can beat the mountain from Stone Mountain. He says he is happy that his friends, Armstrong and Olympia, have the CCW and Alabama titles, but he says he would love to win some gold, maybe finding a partner and going after the Grapplers.
-Sonny King comes out and says it’s time to hang up the boots and concentrate on managing. He says he will be looking for talent at arenas and on TV. He also says that anyone who is looking for a manager should come to him. He finishes by saying he would like to mold young wrestlers and develop them into champions.
TV Matches:
-Brad Armstrong and Terry Taylor beat Ricky Rood and Tank Patton when Armstrong pins Rood following Russian leg sweep and float over. Sonny King watches from the wings.
-Mike Jackson pins Michael Kirschner with a flying cross body block. Again King watches from the shadows.
-Mike Graham outsmarts the Blaze and submits him with the figure four leg lock
-Mr. Olympia, Bob Armstrong, and Ron Fuller no contest versus Kamala, Crusher Blackwell, and Exotic Adrian Street w/Miss Linda as referee Ron West loses control. After the match, Street paints Armstrong’s face with lipstick.

Match 4 – US Jr. title match – Les Thornton def. Mike Graham© with a ¾ nelson to win the title
Match 5 – Alabama State title – Mr. Olympia© puts Kamala to sleep with the sleeper
Match 6 – CCW title - Bob Armstrong© jacks Exotic Adrian Street’s jaw and pins him. After the match Armstrong kissed Miss Linda and Street bumbled his way back to the locker room with Linda looking back at Armstrong as the two disappear into the darkness.
