Championship Wrestling from Florida presents: Live Professional Wrestling
From the War Memorial in Fort Lauderdale, FL 10/18/82
Referees Gilberto Roman and Jack Terry
*All matches sanctioned by the National Wrestling Alliance*
 
-      “Cowboy” Tony Falk and the Zebra Kid defeat El Faron and Flama Roja after Falk delivers a big body slam to El Faron.
 
-      “Bulldog” Bob Brown defeats Shane Douglas with a pile driver.
 
-      “Warlord” Jonathan Boyd defeats Brutus Beefcake with a shot from the Doomsday Glove as King Curtis Iaukea distracted referee Roman.
 
-      Omar Atlas and “Hacksaw” Brett Sawyer defeat Black Bart and “Outlaw” Don Bass by disqualification when the Boss’ brass knuckles are intercepted by Sawyer and he decks Bart and Bass, only to be caught by referee Jack Terry.
 
-      The Missing Link, with “Warlord” Boyd by his side, defeats Perro Aguayo with a brutal trio of head butts.
 
-      Butch Reed falls to the One Man Gang in a match for the Florida Television Title, but after the 15 minute championship time limit.  
 
-      Florida Heavyweight Champion Kevin Sullivan and Bob Orton Jr. battle to a 45 minute draw in a battle for the belt. Fans cheered loudly as Orton delivered a big suplex off the second rope, but the bell sounded before the fall was counted.  
 
-      Barry Windham defeats Mike George with a running bulldog to retain the Southern Heavyweight Title

Really good house show...Nice opener...Good win for Brown...Guess the vitamins aren't working too well for Beefcake...Tough loss for Atlas & Sawyer...Missing Link is really on a roll...Reed got lucky in this one...Sullivan/Orton was worth the price of admission...Windham looked strong....Great stuff!

Always enjoy the longer time limit matches with Sullivan and Orton, Jr. being no exception here. Cheered Boyd beating Beefcake. Surprised that Reed fell to OMG. Big time cheating had to be involved. Beating George is an accomplishment any time.
