-      Jake Roberts and the rest of the Legion of Doom invade the interview set to open the telecast, with Jake smiling sadistically, saying that after he and the One Man Gang defeated Barry Windham and Greg Valentine last Tuesday night in the Hesterly Armory in Tampa, “Now is the time for this snake to strike. Halloween night in Miami, I’m coming for the title. The Legion has battered, beaten, and bloodied you just to give you a taste of what’s in store for you with me in the ring. There is no man, no army, not even my Legion of Doom that is going to keep me from becoming Southern Heavyweight Champion.”
 
-      Eddie Graham comes out and tells fans that after what happened last Tuesday night in Tampa, it would be the One Man Gang getting the match with Southern Heavyweight Champion Barry Windham, regardless of Jake Roberts’ spot as the #1 Contender. “Just like the Champion has to defend the belt every 30 days Roberts, the challenger has those 30 days to stake his claim. Your time has come and gone. So, with the One Man Gang’s pin of the champion in the match you set up, there is nobody to blame but yourself.”
 
-      Brian Blair and Brutus Beefcake try talking with Barbara Cleary with Brian starting things off, but Brutus seems to be going into a spastic fit.  Again, Beefcake starts ranting and raving until Blair, with his frustration visible, snaps and slaps his partner. “Snap out of it! I don’t know if this is some sort of game to you or you are really this crazy. You need to either get your mind clear and focused on Jonathan Boyd and the Missing Link. Those two guys are two of the meanest, nastiest folks in this sport and you’re screaming about prayers and vitamins and demandments like some kind of lunatic disciple. So Brutus, get yourself back here to reality, or maybe it’s time you find a new partner, brother.”  
 
-      Television Champion Butch Reed tells Buddy that he knows that Kevin Sullivan is out there with the Florida Heavyweight Title. “Time and time again Sullivan, we’ve been in the ring and you’ve either run away, cheated and lost, or cheated and won. Well Halloween night, I want one more chance at the Florida Title and I’m gonna ask that Eddie Graham make it a strap match. No running. No hiding. Two men walk in and one man walking out Florida Heavyweight Champion.”
 
-      Professor Boris Malenko and his sons, the Florida Tag Team Champions, Joe and Dean, tell Gordon Solie that what has happened in their meetings with Jesse Barr and Mike George is only the beginning. “You two boys felt that it was going to take my sons off their game to viciously assault me at ring side. You two thought that without me by their side, my sons would revert to being some kind of wet behind the ears, crying infants. Well boys, you have the welts to know that just won’t happen. And I call you boys, Mike and Jesse, because only children would attack a man from behind. Only childish cowards would try and beat down an almost 50 year old man from behind. But like the fans in the Tampa Armory last Tuesday night saw with their own eyes, this old man isn’t afraid of whipping you boys like your mommas and daddies should have done a long time ago. Tonight in Lakeland, tomorrow night in Jacksonville, Tuesday in Tampa, it doesn’t matter. My sons are ready for whatever you want to throw at them and then, when the dust settles, maybe this old man with get a few more licks in to remind you to respect your elders.”
 
-      Florida Heavyweight Champion Kevin Sullivan tells Barbara that he welcomes any challenge Butch Reed puts out. “Did you believe that my glorious victory Labor Day night was not preordained Butch Reed? Did you not think that it was the will of the mighty Abbudah Dien that I was able to reach this pinnacle of greatness? No Butch Reed, this is as it was written is the stars eons ago. And now, you think that a shooting star such as yourself is going to overcome me? I accept your strap match. I beat you once in the steel prison of a cage. A strip of tanned cattle hide is all that I’ll need to show you who has the real power in Florida.”

-      “Warlord” Jonathan Boyd and his Missing Link w/ King Curtis Iaukea defeat Cowboy Tony Falk and Cowboy Parker after the Link delivers a massive power slam to Parker.
 
-      Florida Television Champion Butch Reed defeats former TV Champion Perro Aguayo with a flying shoulder tackle to retain.
 
-      Jesse Barr and Mike George defeat “Gentleman” Jim Breaks and “Squire” Dave Taylor after Barr submits Taylor with a spinning toe hold.

Roberts may have outsmarted himself. Of course, he did say even the Legion wouldn't stop them. That slap from Blair to Beefcake could have some dire consequences if those two aren't united against Boyd and Co. Really exicted to see Reed go against Sullivan. Boris with a dynamite promo.
