He said their alligator mouths overran their tadpole behinds and now they are gone. He wonders who will be the next challenger for the CCW title and is looking forward to the battle royal tonight at Boutwell as he will face the winner. -Les Thornton talks about winning the US Jr. title and demands that Tiger Mask return to Alabama to face him. He says he will be in the battle royal and brags that he will add the CCW title to his US Jr. title when he wins the battle royal and beats Armstrong. -Mr. Olympia says that Kamala was tough last week, but he managed to beat him. He is glad that Street and Blackwell are gone and wonders who will step up to challenge him for the Alabama title. He says that Armstrong is his friend, but he would love to win the battle royal and have a good clean match for the CCW title. -Sonny King says he is building an army and wants to dominate CCW. He announces his first signees as Kamala and The Samoans, Siva Afi and Cocoa Samoa. He says he also has his eye on others and expects to sign them soon. His men will be entered into the battle royal and he predicts that one of his men will take on and beat Bob Armstrong for the CCW title. -The Oates Brothers discuss that it is time they have a go at CCW tag team champions, The Grapplers, and look forward to that match tonight. They say not only do they have to keep an eye on Carson, but the “loaded” boot of Grappler #1. -Don Carson says the Oates Brothers aren’t a challenge to his Grapplers and he says that there isn’t a team in CCW that can take the titles. He says that those young punks, Brad Armstrong and Terry Taylor, will not get another shot if he has any say in it. He also says that he believes one of his Grapplers can win the battle royal and beat Bullet Bob. -Ron Fuller says that the battle royal may be the only way he can get a title match in CCW. He says he respects the Bullet, but titles mean money and he hasn’t held a title in a long, long time. Should he win the battle royal, he promises his friend that their match will be scientific. TV Matches: -Brian Adidas debuts and surprises Tank Patton with an airplane spin -Non-title - The Grapplers w/Carson beat up Don Diamond and the Yellow Jacket -Les Thornton outclasses Mike Kirschner with a ¾ nelson -Ron Fuller submits Ricky Rood with the Fuller leg lock Boutwell Auditorium Birmingham, AL 10/20/82 Referees: Ron West and Larry Brock Ring Announcer: Rick Stewart 1st match - Battle Royal (Winner wrestles for the CCW title in the main event)-Elimination order – Don Diamond, Tank Patton, Stan Frazier, Mike Jackson, Jerry Oates, Brian Adidas, Ricky Rood, Siva Afi, Terry Taylor, Cocoa Samoa, Ted Oates, Les Thornton, Mike Graham. This left The Grapplers, Kamala, Ron Fuller, and Mr. Olympia. Olympia and Kamala hooked up and The Grapplers targeted Fuller. Fuller was beaten bad, but as the Grapplers charged for a double clothesline, Fuller ducked and back dropped them over the top rope. Olympia was struggling to eliminate Kamala when Fuller sneaks in and lifts both Olympia and Kamala to win the battle royal. 2nd match – Brian Adidas beat Ricky Rood with an airplane spin 3rd match – The Samoans w/King wrestled Brad Armstrong and Terry Taylor to a 20 min. draw 4th match – Mike Graham submits Mike Jackson with a figure four 5th match – CCW tag team title – The Oates Brothers beat The Grapplers© w/Carson when referee Brock catches Grappler #1 loading his boot 6th match – Alabama title – Mr. Olympia© backslides Kamala w/King 7th match – CCW title – Bob Armstrong© and Ron Fuller wrestle to a draw when Fuller belly to back suplexes Armstrong and both men's shoulders are pinned.
