The Cheetah Kid defeats Tony Zane with a flying body press of the top rope @ 6:59.
 
Swede Hanson defeats Nick DeCarlo with a butterfly suplex @ 8:36.
 
Randy Rose w/Norvell Austin defeats Steve Regal in Regal’s first match back from his injury at the hands of the Midnight Express. Austin clubs him in the back of the head, as Regal bounds off the ropes late. Regal turns to face the Junkyard Dog and Rose slips behind. One belly-to-back suplex later and Rose wins @ 11:03.
 
Regal kicks the bottom topes in frustration when it is over.
 
Ron Garvin/Nick Busick defeat The Dream Machine/El Gran Apollo w/Sir Oliver Humperdink in a slugfest. The match turns when Humperdink accidentally hits Dream in the back, as he argues with the ringside crowd. Garvin lands a flying shoulder block from the middle rope to pin the masked man @ 14:33.

Masked Superstar vs. Mil Mascaras

Mascaras lives by the sword and, this time, he loses by it. He feels he has the champ on the ropes. ‘Star goes to the floor to recover. Mascaras tries for a dive through the ropes. The fans react and MS moves quickly. Mill smashes into the ring railing. Superstar hits a side suplex on the floor for good measure. Mascaras is COUNTED OUT @ 21:02.

Real good house...Cheetah with a nice win...Big Swede looking good...I understand Regal's frustration as he didn't have Huber or Brazil to watch his back...Garvin looked great in the tag match...Loved seeing Superstar going over Mascaras, never cared for the pompous Mexican hero...Great job Johnny!

Good stuff from the two headed booker team!  I'd like to see more "Young Lion" type stuff with Regal.
 
Appreciate the little creative attention to make the ME work so well.
