AWA World Junior Heavyweight Title
Tiger Mask © vs. Norvell Austin w/Randy Rose

Mask has to wrestle practically two men here. Still, the champ takes everything the MX duo has to offer. The fans let Rose have it during this one. He is paying too much attention to them in the end. He takes out Austin’s legs on a brainbuster attempt. Mask is able to counter with a fisherman’s suplex @ 22:07.

Bell Auditorium
Augusta, Georgia November 6, 1982 7 PM
Referee: Scrappy McGowan

Jerry Grey/Tony Zane defeat Nick DeCarlo/The Super Inferno when Zane hits a middle rope shoulder block on Inferno @ 7:37.

Bobo Brazil defeats Swede Hanson in an old fashioned slobberknocker when Brazil lands a coco butt @ 7:59.

Spike Huber/Steve Regal w/Bobo Brazil defeat Randy Rose/Norvell Austin despite the best efforts at cheating the Midnight Express can muster. The final straw came when Rose pulled what looked like a blackjack out of his boots. Brazil grabbed it and, during the tug-of-war, Rose and Austin bump. Regal and Huber hit a double bulldog on Austin for the pin @ 14:34.

Non-Title Match
Superstar Billy Graham vs. Cowboy Ron Bass w/Sir Oliver Humperdink
Graham shows that he truly believes his “destiny” talk. He defeats Bass within the 15-minute arena time limit for the National TV Title. But, Bass knew better and Humperdink got a stip that the strap wasn’t up. Superstar drives Bass into the turnbuckles on a bulldog attempt late. He lands a devastating belly-to-back suplex and hooks the far leg on the pin @ 14:26.

Mad Dog Buzz Sawyer vs. Mr. Wrestling II.
Before he starts the match, Sawyer lays his dog collar and chain in his corner. It turns out to be a good move. Later, when McGowan is hits by a II elbow, Buzz crawls over to the corner. II tries for the million dollar knee lift. Sawyer clobbers the hero with the chain, as he charges, getting the pin, when McGowan recovers @ 17:35.

Two real good house shows.

Columbus
-Solid win for Grey
-Big Swede is looking good
-Garvin looked great in his tag match
-The Andersons are just awesome
-Great Title defense for Tiger Mask

Augusta
-With some more time and experience, Grey/Zane could be a decent team
-Good win for Bobo
-Huber/Regal continue to surprise me
-Bass sure did get lucky the Title wasn't up for grabs
-Tough loss for II

Great stuff Johnny!

Two quality cards for the fans here.  Good job booking them.  Anytime there is an Anderson team around, you just know they will be in the middle of everything and usually come out on top.

I'll give these cards each a solid 90 out of 100.
