Important Happenings From The Show
~ The Television champion, Dale Mann comes out and says last week he did not defeat Mark Fleming. Last week he did not show he was the better man that evening. BUT....Dale Mann was not defeated either. It went to a 15 minute time limit draw so what he proposes, if Mark Fleming is the wrestler that Mann –thinks- he is, next week they will meet again for the television title. Fleming comes out and says that he will be more than willing to have the chance to defeat Mann again next week....just make sure that television title is with Mann when it happens.
~ The Boogie Woogie Men are at ringside and demand to see Angelo Poffo, the AWA Rep. Poffo comes out and Danny Fargo demands that he suspends Lanny Poffo & George Weingroff after their heinous attack last week on Fargo and his partner Johnny Reeves. Poffo says what his son did was indeed wrong HOWEVER so was what The Boogie Woogie Men did during the US tag title tournament. Pretending not to know what Poffo is talking about, Angelo asks for the film to be shown. It shows the BWM doing the –exact- same thing to Lanny & George on their way to the ring during the final match for the titles. Fargo and Reeves are livid. So livid in fact that they jump The Miser and deliver a vicious beating until being run off by Poffo’s son Lanny, and George Weingroff.
~ Ron Wright is out with Pez Whatley & Porkchop Cash. Wright says he is out to watch this next match because as he said two weeks ago, the Nightmares interest him and his team of Pez & Cash. He says he is not here to interfere, but he IS here to pay close attention.
~ “The Mountain from Stone Mountain” Jerry Blackwell is at ringside. He issues an open challenge to any “puddin’ head” from the back to try to take him on. He wants that US title and will beat up anyone that gets in his way. Berry O agrees to try, and the match is on.
~ Lanny Poffo & George Weingroff come to ringside. Lanny says his father is injured by those no good hoods, Danny Fargo & Johnny Reeves. This will not go unpunished. Lanny has asked his father not to suspend the Boogie Woogie Men. Instead he wants them in the ring next week in a STREET FIGHT!!!! Boogie Woogie Men made the mistake of attacking family and now the fight is on. Weingroff adds that next week the Boogie Woogie Men are finished, then it is on to the US Tag team champions.

Important Matches From The Show
~ “Nature Boy” Roger Kirby & Steve Strong defeat Ric McCord & Ron Sexton after a vicious Argentina Backbreaker on Sexton from Strong
~ The Iranian Assassin defeats Rick Connors using the camel clutch submission
~ The Nightmares defeat Ben Alexander & Bill Howard after The Nightmares deliver a double dropkick on Alexander for the pin. After the match, Ron Wright sends Porkchop Cash & Pez Whatley in for the brutal attack that continues until Koko Ware & Sweet Ebony Diamond come to the rescue.
~  Jerry Blackwell defeats Berry O after hitting the big splash for the pin
~ U.S. Tag Team Championship: Tojo Yamamoto & Gypsy Joe (c) defeat the team of Koko Ware & Sweet Ebony Diamond after a revenge attack from Porkchop Cash & Pez Whatley, injure Ware and Diamond before the match.

This was great TV!  Attacking the senior Poffo was not smart, there will be payback...Blackwell vs Sheik would be brutal...Ron Wright fits right in here...The tag team scene is awesome here...Looking forward to Flemming/Mann...ICW is quickly becoming a must read...Nice job Cory!

Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience!

If I am an ICW fan, I am not going to the restroom before any tag match. I might miss the turning point. Every team looks to be bringing something to the table. Like Ware/Diamond as a team as well as Whatley/Cash. And Ron Wright makes any rivalry a must-see. Angelo may come back and handle his own business but for now I won't miss that Street Fight.

Good stuff.

Although I haven't indulged or followed ICW in real life, I will make more of an effort to check this promotion out more often.  Mark Flemming was always one of those guys that I saw in JCP only as enhancement talent.  But I thought he deserved more and you are giving him that chance here in ICW.

And your tag teams seem to be involved with everything and that can lead to great action with the different matchups.

Good work.
