Championship Wrestling from Florida presents: Southern Championship Wrestling Telecast 11/10/82 across the Sunshine State with Gordon Solie, Buddy Colt, and Barbara Cleary *All matches sanctioned by the National Wrestling Alliance* Interviews and Announcements: - Jake Roberts, today with King Curtis, Warlord Boyd, and the Missing Link, tells Gordon that he has a plan for the One Man Gang. “You see big man your attitude is getting in the way of my business. You’ve cost me and the rest of the Legion a chance to soften up the man who has my Southern Heavyweight Championship. That belt belongs to me, not some puffed up street punk like you, just like the title match Halloween night belonged to me whether you liked it or not. And maybe if you’d been a good dog and curled up in the corner like you were supposed to, this Legion would welcome you back with open arms. But we had to greet you with closed fists and today, the Missing Link will greet you and show you that your place is at the bottom of the heap, big boy.” - Omar Atlas and Brett Sawyer tell Barbara that they are tired of the games that the Boss and his men are playing, and Hacksaw does the talking. “Barbara, Black Bart and Donnie Bass have been blocking ol’ Omar and me from our shots at “Professor” Bill Ash and the TV title. Well boys, next Saturday, right here on Southern Championship Wrestling, we want you two in the ring. And if we meet in between, so much the better because you might just need the lesson we’re teaching you a few extra times to sink in.” - Former World Champion Greg Valentine tells Buddy Colt that he has given Butch Reed all the opportunities he deserves to take down Kevin Sullivan. “The truth is Buddy, Bruce Reed has choked. Time and time again, he’s had a match for the Florida Heavyweight Title and has failed. And a failure like that, is he really the type of man that the people of Florida, the same fans that saw my father win the Florida Heavyweight Title, deserve to have as their champion. I’ve beaten men like Kevin Sullivan before. And once Eddie Graham sees what good business is and gives me that match, he’ll have a new champion he can be proud of.” - “Professor” Bill Ash and the rest of the Boss’s men arrive to talk with Buddy. “You punks think that by challenging the Outlaw and Black Bart you boys will get a clean shot at this Florida Television Title? Brett Sawyer and Omar Atlas, by the time those men are through with you, your meals will pass through a sieve like sand off a beach. So Boss, will they be taken care of next week? See he nodded. A manager of great intellect and few words.” - Mike Graham and Brian Blair speak with Gordon, with Mike challenging the tag team champions. “Barr, George, I know you’re both cowards. You go calling out men who can’t make it to Florida for Thanksgiving in Gino Hernandez and Jimmy Garvin. You two think that will give you a night off. Well Thanksgiving night, you two will have a match, with Brian and myself for those Florida Tag Titles and don’t think that we’ll make it easy on you. Matches for this telecast: - Former Television Champion Perro Aguayo defeats “Cowboy” Tony Falk with a double stomp to the midsection off the second rope. - Omar Atlas defeats Shane Douglas with an abdominal stretch. - Greg “the Hammer” Valentine defeats “Squire” Dave Taylor with a figure four leg lock. - Florida TV Champion Bill Ash defeats the Nightmare to retain the belt after delivering an Arkansas Whiplash. - The One Man Gang defeats the Missing Link via disqualification when “Warlord” Jonathan Boyd and King Curtis Iaukea jump the big man. This brings out Mike Graham and Brian Blair to even the odds. The telecast ends with an irate One Man Gang screaming after Iaukea, Boyd and the Missing Link.
