ICW is on the air (Tv #6 November 12th, 1982)
Nov 10th, 2012, 1:48pm

ICW Television
Taped in Lexington, Kentucky, in the WTVQ Studios on: Thursday November 8th 1982
Aired: Saturday  November 12  at 12 Noon
Announcers:  Edgar Wallace, Tim Tyler, John Back, Don Pruitt
Referees: Sam Diamond aka Jack Barnett, Jim Davis, Emmitt Couch, George Hill

**Begin VTR*
The Boogie Woogie Men are at ringside and demand to see Angelo Poffo, the AWA Rep. Poffo comes out and Danny Fargo demands that he suspends Lanny Poffo & George Weingroff after their heinous attack last week on Fargo and his partner Johnny Reeves. Poffo says what his son did was indeed wrong HOWEVER so was what The Boogie Woogie Men did during the US tag title tournament. Pretending not to know what Poffo is talking about, Angelo asks for the film to be shown. It shows the BWM doing the –exact- same thing to Lanny & George on their way to the ring during the final match for the titles. Fargo and Reeves are livid. So livid in fact that they jump The Miser and deliver a vicious beating until being run off by Poffo’s son Lanny, and George Weingroff.
**End VTR**

- Boogie Woogie Men come out to ringside. Danny Fargo says that Angelo will not be alone because this week he will have his son Lanny and his partner Weingroff will be with him after thier street fight tonight.  Anything can happen, everything goes and there are no rules.  Tonight, more hospitals will be filled.

Iranian Assassin defeats Ron Sexton after catching him in a camel clutch
*
- Adrian Street calls out the AWA world junior champion, Tiger Mask. He tells Mask that the AWA junior belt is one he wants.  He has been world junior champion twice before.  Tiger Mask ended his last reign and now it is time for Street to end Tiger Masks. If Mask does not come to ICW and defend against Street, then Street will go find him.
*
Pez Whatley & Porkchop Cash w/Ron Wright defeat Hoot Gibson & Berry “O” after Cash delivers a piledriver to “O”
*
- Ron Wright brings his team of Cash & Whately to stay at ringside. Wright issues an open challenge to both the Nightmares AND Koko Ware & Sweet Ebony Diamond. Wright says his team are two of the toughest men in the world and these two losing tag teams will learn that the hard way. Cash & Whatley have guts, something those other two don’t have. Next week they will wait in the ring for one of the teams to show up.
*
Television Championship: Dale Mann (c) wrestles to another 15 minute time limit with Mark Fleming
*
- “Mountain from Stone Mountain” Jerry Blackwell is at ringside and issues a challenge to the Sheik for the US heavyweight title. Blackwell is tired of that “puddin’ head” holding that belt and trying to hurt wrasslers.  He knows the Sheik is here tonight and he wants him in the ringm one on one tonight.
*
Street Fight Tag Match: Boogie Woogie Men & Lanny Poffo/Georgie Weingroff wrestle to a no contest in this street fight because while brawling around the studio, the U.S. tag team champions, Gypsy Joe & Tojo Yamamoto, join in the brawl. The tag team champions lay out both other teams with trash cans, making it a no contest as the champs stand over their contenders.
*
- ~ A V.T.R. is played. It shows two wrestlers, sitting down, hands in the air at chest height, chanting as a hooded figure is standing in front of them. The Hooded figure says that soon, his team of the Devil’s Duo will be in the ICW and when they come, all that is holy, all that is good, will never be again.
*
- U.S. Heavyweight Championship: The Sheik (c) defeats Jerry Blackwell by DQ after The Sheik is attacked by a RETURNING “ALL AMERICAN” BOB ROOP!!!! Roop attacks The Sheik and busts him open. As the now bloodied Sheik tries to get away, Roop is confronted in the ring by an irate Blackwell. Roop tries to explain but Blackwell does not listen. He attacks Roop with the same vigor that Roop attacked The Sheik as we fade out.

Too bad that Blackwell and Roop couldn't get on the same page. Weingroff and Poffo gave The Boogies all they could handle. Tojo and Joe made a statement. Cash and Whatley, along with Wright, are another great team in this very deep division. Street calling out Mask could get very interesting.

Great stuff, Cory.

Another great TV...Good win for the Iranian...Street/TM is a rivalry that has spanned the board...Really like Whatley/Cash...Fleming needs just a little more time to beat Mann...Great street fight, but the Champs show that they are the top dogs here...The Devil's Duo is ready to engulf ICW with their evil ways...Roop should have waited to get his revenge, now he has double trouble...Great work Cory!

Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience!

You have created a very exciting promotion in a short period of time. I really like Blackwell in this setting and Bob Roop is one of my all time favorites. I will keep reading every week.

I'm interested in the exploits of a baby face Bob Roop. He's always been a guy that to me seams so unlikeable I can't really imagine him as a face, but then again, I'm not afraid to play wrestlers against type either.
