NWA MACW Cincinnati Ohio 11/10
Nov 11th, 2012, 4:40am

Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling
Sanctioned by the NWA, The National Wrestling Alliance
From the Cincinnati Cardens in Cincinnati Ohio on November the 10th 1982
Your ring announcer for this evenings event is David Crockett
Your referees are Tommy Young, George Gadaski and Sonny Fargo

Ray 'Hercules' Hernandez pins Israel Mata with a over the shoulder backbreaker in 7 minutes. (Fargo)

Butch Miller and Luke Williams pins Chris Hamrick and Tracy Smothers after a double team battering ram on Smothers in 9 minutes. (Gadaski)

Jimmy Valliant and Al Snow pick up the victory over Mister Fuji and The Great Kabuki as Snow schoolboys Kabuki at the 14 minute mark in a hard fought back and forth match.  Valliant kisses Snow on the mouth after the win. (Young)

Mighty Igor and Ivan Putski fight to a twenty minute draw versus Johnny Saint and Kendo Nagasaki in this power versus techincal skill match up.(Fargo)

Jumbo Tsuruta with JJ Dillon pins Mike Rotunda after a big belly to back suplex with a bridge and retains the Mid Atlantic Television Title. (Gadaski)

In what has to be considered a major upset the team of Johnny Weaver and Nelson Royal upset the unifed Mid Atlantic Tag Team Champions of Ivan Kollof and Nikolai Volkoff after Weaver puts Kollof to sleep as Royal keeps Von Erich and Volkoff at bay at the eighteen minute mark. (Young)  The new champs grab their belts and run to the back as Von Erich, Kollog and Volkoff have words in the middle of the ring.

INTERMISSION ONE- TO SET UP THE CAGE

The Iron Sheik with JJ Dillon wins the match over Jim Duggan after Duggan is unresponsive after being in the Camel Clutch for over three minutes and bleeding a lot.  Fargo points out to all that he didn't give up and the match was only stopped because he didn't respond.  The Sheik, covered in his own blood and Duggans' walks slowly to the back with Dillon holding him up.  Duggan needs the help of three refs to get to the back

INTERMISSON TWO- TO TAKE DOWN THE CAGE

An overconfident Paul Jones falls prey to an injured Terry Allen at the twenty minute mark.  The game Allen uses his last bit of strength, adrenline and guile to catches Jones with a belly to belly suplex with Jones kicking out right after the three.  Jones keeps up the attack on Allen's knee, locking in the Indian Death lock until Valliant and Snow run in to stop it.  Allen retain the US title but is a lot worse for the wear. (Gadaski)

Rick Steamboat and Jay Youngblood wrestle the NWA World Tag Team Champions Gino Hernandez and Jimmy Garvin to a time limit thirty minute draw that was a techinical masterpeice.  (Fargo)

Dusty Rhodes pins Harley Race at the twenty two minute mark after delivering multiple bionic elbows to the former champ. (Young)

Rhodes and Race would have been a great way to end it but I am sure that Steamboat/Youngblood vs. Garvin/Hernandez stole the show. Weaver and Royal would have been cheered by the fans for beating The Foreign Powers, despite their recent heel tendencies. The Sheepherders have to be next. Real big upset by Snow and Valiant.

Great card.
